Meg closed her eyes with a defended sigh. She knew she had to make a decision eventually and even through her parents were part of the reason that she left, she knew she had to forgive them, even through they dont deserve it.
Meg step out of her bedroom, getting her parents attention as they snap their head towards her. "I been thinking" she said pausing glancing at her mom and dad, who stares back "I decided to forgive you for everything you have done to me, even through you dont deserve it" she said fidget her fingers.
"Really? Meg!?" Lois said before leaping up and rush to hug her daughter and Peter just stand there, watching the mother-daughter duo.
"Please mom. Your crushing me" she gasped as Lois let go. "Sorry" Lois said rubbing the back of her head. "Thank you Meg. For giving us a second chance" Peter smiles at his daughter who stares at him unimpressed.
She still not initally fully forgiving them, but she was the better person to give them a second chance to make it up to her. To see if they have truly changed as a person, as a character.
"Dont make me regret my decision" Meg warns both of her parents as she stare them down both with an intense look on her face.
"You wont Meg. I promise" Lois said "Right Peter?" she glanced at her husband who nods.
"Right Lois"
