"I want a divorce" came out of Lois Griffin mouth. Man she never thought she would actually say it or meant it too.
Peter friends gasped. That was a dumb move on her part. She should have guess that they were here like usual.
"We better go so you two can settled things out" Quagmire said looking uncomfortable alongside with the other guys.
"Lets go!" Cleveland said picking his pace to keep up"We see you later Peter" Then he close the door. Peter just glanced at his wife in disbelief. Lois his wife for many years..decided to called it quits just
like that? No way..it has to be some kind of a joke a cruel one at that!
Her facial expression tells him otherwise. She was dead serious.
"Why..?" He ask staring at her. "Our marriage is falling apart and you dont care about anyone but yourself" Lois explained calmly as if she was telling a child.
"I know im not the best husband but come on..give me another chance" She heard Peter plead. As much as she wanted too, she couldn't. In her heart she knows that Peter couldn't change not even for her, so for both of their sakes, its best that she let the marriage go.
"Im sorry Peter" She said trying hard not to cry "But im done. Im taking Chris and Stewie but we can co parent, I dont mind"
She reach to touch his shoulders only to slap her hands away. She glanced to looked at Peter. He was heartbroken and angry.
"I dont believe this Lois! I dont even know you anymore!" He spat "I thought you loved me!" She looked down. She does but she couldn't handled being in a broken marriage anymore, she needs to get herself out and thats what she going to do.
"After all I forgive you for cheating on me mutiple times, and all the other shit you pulled!" She winced as his tone. It was fury but yet sad. She never thought Peter could react emotionally.
"Fine. We can get a divorce" He tells her "But you gotta find your own place" She knew that. Deep down, she needed alone time for herself.
"Co-parenting the kids fine" He continues "But they stay here and I bring them to you for the weekends" She nods.
"Okay but we better tell them the news" She said quietly but he shook his head "You do it since this was your idea!" He spits.
"Okay" She whispers watching sadly as he stormed out of the house, leaving her here in her thoughts.
