Most of us have seen the bibles with the special thin paper. It's almost transparent, and in certain light can make it hard to read. So why is it on that specific paper? Because it's spell paper, like rice paper.
LAIC, are there any other books that use that kind of paper?
LAIC - What is the Black Spot, how is it created, and why?
The Black Spot is an old spell to doom someone to death. To 'mark' them for death or a devil. It's created by painting or writing a black spot on page of the bible, then the piece is torn out of the bible. Now do you see it's spell paper?
Ok one more. LAIC - In the Appalachian mountains, Wise, Granny and Cunning folk quite often heal or cast spells with specific bible verses, pages or use of the book itself. They will tell you the book may have been created and further corrupted by liars, but it was formed from much older, wiser books. The bible itself is a collection of much older texts and stories taken from Babylonian, Mesopotamian, Assyrian, Egyptian and other ancient realms.
Some things to wonder and LAIC.
