Things had been harder for Cream when she got older, she developed a crush on her close friend Tails but never acted out on it as his heart belonged to Cosmo.

She ached and yearned but knew in her heart she could never in good faith get In between them. when Cosmo died she comforted Tails and provided him comfort while he mourned his love's death, Cream never acted on her feelings. When Cosmo came back Cream was relieved to see a smile on Tail's face again, but she was once again filled with heartache watching Tails and Cosmo fall in love all over again.

A few more years passed until she slowly fell out of love with Tails, her heart still stung at the memory of heartbreak but it no longer affected her as deeply as it once did.

Cream grew into a beautiful young lady, her ears grew, her hair became curly and she kept her polite attitude. It wasn't a surprise when someone began admiring from afar.

Charmy lived with Vector and Espio in a flat, as Charmy got older he became interested in music and began making music, he kept to himself and spent most of his time in the sky, it was a calming experience for him, the wind and the beautiful blue sky all around him, headphones on, humming his favorite music. It wasn't long until he spotted the rabbit.

She was gardening when he first saw her, they had met before and were friendly towards each other but they never saw each other often enough to strike to have a friendship. He developed a small crush quickly.

He began dropping off small gifts for her garden, seeds of all sorts, new gloves, and fancy garden decorations. He enjoyed seeing her smile and small blush whenever she would see the gifts, his heart thumping through his chest as she looked around to find who had been giving her the gifts.

He didn't have the courage the approach her just yet, he just admired her from afar.

It became a regular habit of his, coming a few times a week to drop off things for her ever-growing garden, every day it grew more and more beautiful just like its owner.

One day, he told himself, one day he would get the courage to talk to her face the face. He was just stalling until then.

A few months passed when Charmy had once again decided to visit Cream's home. He was disappointed to see there seemed to be no one home. He took the time to truly observe the rabbit's garden, it vibrated beautiful colors and sweet smells that made Charmy buzz.

Charmy didn't notice the figure behind him.

"Well, Hello."

A sweet voice from behind him spoke,  making him turn around in surprise, he blushed at the sight before him. Cream. She was wearing an orange polka dot dress and an apron that was wrapped neatly around her waist, a delicious smell of fresh baked goods arose from a basket she was carrying with her left arm.

"O-Oh! Um... I was just... just... I saw a garden f-from afar a-and—!!"

The rabbit giggled sweetly.

"Came to drop of another gift for the garden?"

Charmy stilled, his face as red as a tomato as his eyes widen. She knew?! As if reading his mind she spoke.

"I've known for awhile Charmy, you've never been the best hider."

"Oh.. sorry"

Charmy said as he rubbed the back of his head, giving an awkward smile.

"It's okay, I've enjoyed it. I wasn't in the best place earlier this year, I began gardening to help keep myself busy and when you began giving me gifts I was so happy, you don't even know... Thank you... Charmy thank you for doing all that, you didn't have to and you were kind enough to do it anyway."

The bee's heart rates quickened at the rabbit's confession.

"I-I... I don't know what to say Cream... I-I'm happy you liked it, I didn't want to seem like a stalker... I just really liked seeing you so happy."

She smiled, he smiled back.

"Do you... want to come inside with me and try some of these muffins I just made?"
