𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 ~ Blazamy

Hello, I am a knight Named Blaze. I serve the king and queen of Caspian, but recently I was assigned to watch and protect the Lady of the Lake. I had heard nothing but pleasant things about her, but still, I was rather Anxious to meet her. After all, she was pretty much seen as a goddess to the townspeople, if I was to fail my duties as a knight, they would have my head on a plate. I still remember how hard my heart was beating as I Rode my horse to The lake when The lady of the lake waited for my arrival.

The minute I arrived at that lake, I was star struck, I lost my breath at the beauty that stood in front of me. The lady of the lake was much more beautiful than I had ever imagined. Her green eyes sparkled in the moonlight. Her hair sat neatly on her shoulders she said smiled at me. Oh, and that sweet voice.

"Good evening Knight Blaze, it is wonderful to finally meet you."

I immediately bowed my head and knelt down in her presence.

"Hello Lady of the Lake, I have been assigned by King Sonic and Queen Mina to watch serve you and Protect you."

"Knight Blaze, there is no need for such formal introduction my dear. You may call me Amelia, as long as I may call you Blaze."

I nodded softly, raising my head up to gaze upon her beauty once more. She smiled down at me as she began to walk into the lake, her dress floating around her as she peacefully sat down, closing her eyes as the moonlight beamed down on her. I continued to quietly watch from afar as the water began to glow a light blue, startling me to point of action.

"I am not in the Danger Blaze. I am giving you a gift."

Amelia said in a gently down as she reached into the water, pulling out a sword before slowly making her way back to me. I immediately went back down to one knee as she walked towards me, stopping right in front of me.

"I, Amelia Rose, Lady of the Lake now gift you the Excalibur sword. Do you swear on your life to protect Me and The lake for as long as you are able to walk?"

"I promise on my life Lady Amelia, I promise to never leave your side unless given specific orders."

"Then, I now knight you, Blaze, as the Knight of the lake."

She said with her same gentle tone as she handed me the sword, I looked up at her as I took it, this was one of the greatest honors I knight could be given and I was nothing short of grateful to be one of the few people to have ever held this sword. That night I not only swore on my life to protect her from harm, but I also swore to never fall for Amelia. I knew the moment I saw her, I was already interested, but I shouldn't let lust distract me from my orders.

Why does she have to look at me like that? With her beautiful green eyes, her rosy cheeks, her kissable lips... No! I mustn't get distracted! What am I thinking?

Blaze bit her lip as she looked down at the sword, Amy curiously looked at the Purple Cat.

"What is wrong knight Blaze?"

"o-oh! Nothing, Lady Amelia! I should get to my job; I shouldn't take up a lot of your time."

Blaze felt weak and ashamed, she felt like a disgrace to anyone who trained her. How could she really for the lady of the lake? They had only been talking for a little bit, yet Amelia already had Blaze wrapped around her finger.

I suppose she just has that effect on people, with the number of men that send her pathetic love letters, it shouldn't be much of a surprise to me how easily I fell for her. But my job as a knight forbids these feelings, I must get rid of them at all costs. Not only am I simply a knight, but I am also a woman. What I feel would never be accepted, not by Amelia, not by society, not by anyone.

Whilst Blaze was in deep thought, Amy slowly made her way towards the conflicted knight.

"knight blaze?"

Blaze jumped a little from surprise, her tail shooting as her eyes widen, she looked to the right to see it was just Amelia.

"Yes, Lady Amelia?"

"You seem to be... Troubled, is there something you would like to talk about?"

"oh, no no, it's just some random thoughts in popping up in my head..."

Blaze lied before clearing her throat, The pink clearly didn't believe her for a second, finally, putting a hand on the cheek of the now flustered Blaze.

"w-what are you do lady Amelia."

She stuttered out, her cheeks heating up a bright pink as Amelia began to chuckle softly.

"you were not just chosen, Randomly Knight Blaze. I chose you."

"what?"

"of course, the minute I saw you training, I knew you were perfect for the job. You are amazing at fighting and perfected the art of defense, it didn't hurt that you looked rather... Beautiful."

did I hear that correctly?

Blaze looked down at Amy with a confused look, the pink hedgehog was still so calm even admitting this to Blaze.

"lady Amelia, that is forbidden."

"I am aware knight blaze, but, I knew I couldn't be the only one that felt a sort of... Spark between us."

Blaze became even more flustered, she was frozen in place as Amelia soon kissed her head gently.

"Knight Blaze, will you do me the honor of sitting next to me while watching the stars?"

"O-Of course Lady Amelia!"

"you can call me Amy... this will be our little secret."
