𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 ~ Sonknux

Here he comes again, that damn blue hedgehog. Why he insists on constantly bugging me I will never know. I hate him, I hate how cocky he is, I hate his dumb smirk, I hate his laugh, I hate how he makes me nervous.

What did he do to me? I hate his guts, but I also want to be around him. I want to punch him, but I also want to hug him.

I hate the way he makes me double think everything. I want things to go back to the way they were before when he didn't visit the island daily when he wasn't on my mind almost every single hour of the day.

Damn you sonic the hedgehog.

"Heya knucklehead!"

A familiar voice shouted from behind the red echidna, He looked away with a ping of annoyance, attempting to ignore the annoying blue hedgehog who was now zooming all around him.

"Did you see what I did today?"

"No, I didn't."

"Aw come on knucklehead, keep up with the times! And get a phone while you're at it! It's hard contacting you without having to run."

"You love running, besides, why should I get a phone? So you can spam me? Annoy me even more than you do now?"

The red echidna snapped with a low growl, turning away as he crossed his arms. Sonic did nothing but laugh in response to his question, he always took everything knuckles said as light-hearted, even if they were insults.

But, as much as knuckles hated to admit it, he loved hearing the blue blur laugh, it brought him an odd sense of happiness.

"You got me there Knucklehead, I do enjoy running. But still, it would be nice if Tails or Amy could get ahold of you more easily, you know?"

Knuckles huffed in response and kept himself turned away. The blue hedgehog did not like to be ignored like this, he zoomed in front of knuckles with a cocky smirk.

"Stop being so grumpy for five seconds! There's more to life than being angry!"

"Come on, live life a little!"

The blue blur said, putting his hands on his hips and pulling a small frown.

Damn it. He's giving me that stupidly adorable frown.

Knuckles ignored his temptations and turned away once again. But that only made Sonic more persistent, the space between became smaller and smaller as the blue hedgehog got closer to knuckles.

An obvious blush appeared on Knuckle's face at how close they were, his cheeks were burning up, his fists clenching tightly. He gulped down the last bit of confidence he had as the hedgehog came into her personal space, he could feel his breath against his chest, knuckles was slightly taller than Sonic, not enough to mock him for it, but enough where Sonic was below his chin.

"I mean it knuckles, you should come out sometime, we'd love to have you around, I'd love to have you around."

"Well, I'll consider it."

"What about tonight?"

Sonic asked, his big green eyes looking up at Knuckles with a sense of hope.

"I don't know, I need to watch Master Emerald if you didn't remember, and I don't think anyone else is willing to watch it tonight."

"Well, what if I stayed here with you instead, you know, have a bit of a sleepover?"

Knuckles became a flustered mess once again at the thought of them alone, no one to see them, no one to hear them.

Fuck, I have to get my head out of the gutter.

"No, Sorry."

He replied bluntly, But once again, Sonic was not willing to back down. He grabbed onto his arm and frowned once more.

"Oh come on,  it's one night knucklehead! What are we gonna do that's so terrible huh?"

Dirty thoughts filled up Knuckles' head as he closed his eyes.

It's not what we'd do, it's what I'd do to you if given the chance to be alone with you for so long...

"Oh I see, you're scared."

"N-No!"

Knuckles retorted only for Sonic to respond with a cocky chuckle. The red echidna felt slowly get frustrated with anger.  He needed to shut The blue blur up somehow.

"Maybe that's why you're always alone up here, you can barely socialize with anyone without getting all angry and super defensive."

That broke knuckles, he could only take so much of the teasing before he broke. He grabbed The blue hedgehog's shoulders, the hedgehog expressing a face of shock at the sudden roughness of Knuckles.

Knuckles took one last big gulp before he roughly pressed his lips against Sonic's, Sonic didn't fight as knuckles had expected, he leaned in, yes, leaned in, to the kiss. This surprised knuckles, he didn't expect Sonic to be so willing.

The kiss lasted for mere seconds, but it felt like an eternity, both of them slowly pulled away, an awkward silence fell upon on them as the looked each in the eyes.

What could they say? That They liked the kiss? That they hated the kiss?

Knuckles bit his inner cheek in a mixture of embarrassment and shame, he opened his mouth to apologize but the blue blur quickly interrupted him.

"Before you say anything Knuckles, I liked the kiss, so don't try and lie."

The red echidna stood there stunned, he kissed the blue hedgehog just to shut him up.

"my question is, why did you do it?"

"I... I... You kept talking and it was annoying me... U wanted to shut you up... And this was the only way I could think of quickly..."

"you thought kissing me would shut me up?"

Knuckles nodded, his cheeks red like a tomato at this point, he looked down. Sonic let out a small sigh before making the echidna look at him.

"You didn't have to kiss me to get me to shut up knucklehead... but I'm glad you did..."

They stared into each other's eyes once again, neither of them wanting to speak any further. Knuckles leaned in once again, this time being a lot less forceful, Sonic leaned into his lips happily.

And they kissed once again, this felt so right for both of them.

I hate how hard I fell for you.
