Cody and Sean were clowns…. Well it had to be said. They’d done nothing more than muck about and play silly pranks on each other and sometimes Gary too but, ever since the incident in the hospital - involving Nina. Gary wasn’t the chilled and laid back guy anymore – more the tense and serious guy.
I couldn’t help feeling responsible for the way things had turned out between them. If only I’d been able to resist drinking, then maybe I wouldn’t have messed things up between everyone.
After coffee, we’d gone off to the park and the water features were on. It was really pretty! Until Sean decided to jump in, soon followed by Cody and then they dragged Gary in with them as well. It was hilarious~
And after, we just laid out on the grass and talked (and talked) for ages while the guys sun dried off – Which led to them catching me more then once staring at them and their God like bodies (since they were shirtless), even I had to admit they were good looking!!
It was nearing the end of the day now and to say I was exhausted didn’t cut close to the actual truth! I was nearer to falling over but Gary, Sean and Cody were right there by my side to catch me and set me back on my feet.
“D’awww!! Garrryyy!! Don’t send us away! We need to take care of Skitttllleesss~~” I was currently being held captive by Cody and Sean, crushed into their chests (now dressed) with Sean’s dark brown dreadlocks tickling my face. Humm.
“No! Go back to your own school, Tristen needs rest” Gary responded sternly, as he went about untangled Sean’s and Cody’s arms from around me and eventually pulling me free from the whining pair.
“B-But Garrryy!” Cody began again but then Gary gave him a look, which had them both holding their hands up surrender before scattering like scared rabbits.
“See ya Skittles!!” Was the last I heard before they were gone.
I blinked, feeling a little stunned by how quickly that had all happened, though I thought little off it as Gary led me back to my room only for us to once again be intercepted by non other than Gary’s football mates as we went through the small sitting quarters in the student dorms building.
They smiled at Gary, tossing a football between them as they approached us, stopping to talk to Gary who easily slipped his arm around my shoulders.
Wait -- What was he doing!??? I looked up and frowned in confusion up at him but his calm hazel eyes were looking at his friends.
“Yo! You coming to practice, Gaze?” one asked tossing the ball he had in hand to his partner who twirled it.
“Sorry dude, Gotta take care of Skittles” Gary replied earning a few groans in response.
“Coach an’t gunna be happy you missed yet another practice Gaze, We’ve got the finals coming up soon” He replied catching the ball which was tossed back his way.
I frowned, grabbing Gary’s arm and pulling it off of my shoulders, earning his full attention.
“You’re missing practice to take care of me??” I asked shocked, earning a small shrug from Gary.
