"Target located. East building heading to the parking garage."

Only a click answered the call.

To anyone else, that might be a bad sign. For the members of Team 666, this was the only answer they would receive from Agent White.

"Agent White en route to the target, General."

"Good, let's get this done with boys. I want to be home before supper." The gray-haired man sighed, watching the cameras, looking for threats.

He pointed to the far screen showing four red dots moving toward the agent's location.

"Four heat signatures on your left."

Click.

Four men walk into the view of the cameras. Laughing, with AR-15 Rifles strapped on their backs.

She confirmed Mexican Cartel street runners. Either shipping drugs or 12-year-old children out of the country.

"Te digo, Matthew, esas damas anoche. Maldita sea, fue el mejor sexo de mi vida!"

Sé que sé!"

The "ladies" they were most likely talking about, weren't over the age of 13. This is why Agent White didn't care that the inside of their skulls was about to be covering the floor.

"If you have the shot, take it."

All clear.

The wind was blowing faster now, maybe sensing what was about to happen. Or maybe helping, Agent White as she landed behind the four men without making a sound.

She smiled when they didn't turn and counted how many steps it would take her to put her Smith & Wesson to the back of one of their heads.

Six steps.

Perfect.

With six simple steps and she placed the cold metal on the back of the man's skull, making him stop.

She almost laughed at the way his body froze, or maybe the way that his company didn't realize he was left behind.

With a flick of her finger, a bullet rang out of the barrel and into the man's skull. Successfully, alerting his friends of her arrival.

And just like before she sank into the darkness of the night, and was unseen by the men.

Drawing their weapons, the men searched the night for the killer of their friend. All they found was the night winds. And the brains of their friend on the ground.

One yelled something about "find the bastard" which is a very rude guess. She was no bastard, if anything she was a bitch.

She sighed, men these days. Always thinking it's a man doing the dirty work. It's quite sexist as she sees it.

A woman could quickly kill a man if she wished to.

So when the second man stepped by her in the shadows. She quickly took a knife to his jugular. And pulled him into the darkness of the night.

"Two down Agent. Bring one in for questioning." The general's voice rang over her earpiece.

She waited in the night, listening to the sounds of them searching around looking for the devil they call her. They called her the devil, because well, they thought she was.

She smiled at the fact. It seemed to be her dark sense of humor that got to her at that time. Some people think of the devil with a red point tail and red pointed ears. That slave monsters in the night and brings them to rot in hell.

But to her devil was no one just a man in the dark. And if that's all she had to live up to. She'd be so much worse.

The third man died before he could even take his last breath. A snapped neck.  She thought that it might be too easy for him. To die in such a simple way. But when she thought about it he died scared, and that just made her smirk.

Men like this deserved to die, wondering just how they were going to die. Shit, she'd even go as far as to say they deserved to piss their pants before they died.

"Demonio" The final man gasped as she came into the light.

She gave him a wicked smile, before jabbing the syringe into his jugular.

The clean liquid disappeared into his veins.

She pulled down her mask as he started to sway.  She could see the drug haze in his eyes. She gave him one wicked smile. Before mouthing the words night night. Right before he hit the ground.

"Target neutralize. Head back to the base soldier. You did well today." The general's voice rang through her ears before she ripped out the communication device from her ear.

Heaving the man onto her shoulders, picking up her forgotten blade. And walked back to base.

All she could think about was the devil they thought she was. Verse the one she knew.

The man in the shadows.

Verse the woman with a gun.
