(Cassie, Takeda, Kung Jin, and Jacqui are in a Special Forces Plane.)
Cassie: We land in fifteen minutes. We'll enter the Sky Temple from the terrestrial entrance.
Takeda: Why not go straight there?
Kung Jin: It exists in a different quantum state, slightly out of phase from our reality. It can't be reached by conventional means.
(Takeda sighs.)
Jacqui: What?
Takeda: It's just us. No one's coming to help. We either pull this off or-
Cassie: We will get it done.
(They look out at the sky to see a Red Sky coming towards them.)
Kung Jin: By the... What is that?!
Takeda: Dunno. But it's headed right for us.
Kung Jin: Elder Gods have mercy...
Jacqui: Buckle up, people! I gotta put her down.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(They land in the forest and Cassie goes to try and fix the Plane, Takeda and Jacqui look out into the woods.)
Jacqui: Looks like the Temple entrance is fifteen clicks that way.
Takeda: A moonlight walk in the woods. Another time, it'd be relaxing.
Jacqui: I wouldn't have pegged you for outdoorsy.
Takeda: My mother and I lived near a forest a lot like this. Really takes me back.
Jacqui: After we wrap this up, we should go.
(Takeda and Jacqui look at each other and smile meanwhile Cassie tries to fix the ship but fails.)
Cassie: Fuck me... We're grounded. That shockwave fried the leads.
Jacqui: Then let's get going. We're almost outta time.
(They start to run but then stop as a portal opens. And shows Erron Black, Ermac, Kotal Kahn, Ferra/Torr, Reptile, as well as Kotal's Osh-Tekk army walk through the portal.)
Kung Jin: What are they doing here?
Jacqui: Looking for the amulet, I bet.
Takeda: We have to tell them about Shinnok. Call a truce.
Kotal Kahn: Bring them to me!
(His army charges.)
Cassie: Or not.
Jacqui: The woods! C'mon!
(They run into the woods hiding from Kotal Kahn and his army.)

(Kotal and his army are walking in the woods, looking for Cassie and her team.)
Ferra: They quiet. Sneaky.
Kotal Kahn: Ermac.
Ermac: We sense them. But the forest teems with souls.
Reptile: Yes... So close...
(Explosives can be heard as trees start to fall. Cassie throws Grenades, Kung Jin uses his bow, Takeda uses his telepathy, and Jacqui uses her Arm canons. Cassie throws a Grenade near Reptile and he jumps out of the way onto a tree as the Grenade explodes.)
Kotal Kahn: Divine fire and earth!
(Reptile climbs up a tree behind Jacqui.)
Reptile: I see you...
Takeda: Jacqui, look out!
(Reptile jumps on top of Jacqui and he spits on Takeda's eyes. Takeda holds his eyes in pain. Reptile tries to attack but Jacqui is faster and punches him in the throat and head butts him. He then gets off her.)
Jacqui: You hurt him... you answer to me.
(Jacqui and Reptile fight with Jacqui winning using her Arm canons.)
Jacqui: Go crawl back under your rock, Reptile.
(Then she runs over to Takeda.)
Jacqui: Stop! You need water. Lean your head back.
