"Why's the hospital so boring?" Matthew asks as he sit on me "I don't know" I say then we get called so we go "Hey Ava" the nurse says "Hey Leah." Ava says "So you're Leah" I say "And you're Gabriela, Athena and your best friend talks a lot about you." She says "You know auntie Angie?" Madison asks

"Yeah we're friends" she says as we get to a room and I put Madison on the bed. "Are you okay?" Matthew asks her "My ankle just hurts" she says as she lay her head on his shoulder and he hugs me. I took a picture of this rare moment and sent it to Micah.

"Hey Auntie" Ava says "Hey troublemakers." Athena says "My ankle hurts really bad" Madison says so Athena takes a look at it as my phone ring so I step out the room. "Why are y'all in the hospital?" Micah asks

"Madison was playing on the stairs and now her ankle hurts. It's swollen and bruised it might be broken." I say "Call me when you find out" he says then I hang up "We're going to have to take an X-ray of her ankle and we'll know for sure if it's either sprained or broken." Athena tells me and I nod

"Gabriela" Ava says as she motions me over to her so I go. "I think my auntie likes you" she whispered "Why do you say that?" I asked "Because you guys like the same books and she's never been closer to any of her other friends." She says "Your auntie is a very amazing friend." I say getting flash backs of our night together

She nods then we go back to standing with Matthew "She'll be fine Matthew there's no need to be worried." I say "Yeah and we'll be the first to sign her cast if she needs one." Ava says "Can I see my phone?" He asks so I give it to him and he start calling someone.

"Auntie can you guys make Maddy a cake?" He asks "Vanilla cake with sprinkles" he says "Okay thank you" he says before hanging up. "Ok so she broke her growth plate in her ankle" Athena says showing me "Do she needs surgery?" I asked

"No but I'll need to put on a cast" she says "This won't affect her growing right?" I asked "It usually don't as long as she be careful and it heals correctly." She says "Okay" I say

Right now I'm helping Athena get the stuff for Madison's cast as Leah play with the kids. "Thank you" I say "Well it's my job and it's easier working with kids than adults sometimes." She says and I laughed "Oh there it is" she says getting something from behind me leaving us face to face.
