Fuck.

Fuck.

Fuck.

He has escaped.

How did this happen?

Without any delay, Kakashi and I moved forward towards the Uchiha village, after a short discussion we agreed that it is most reasonable that it might take place there. I can't imagine the rage, the terror people are facing. For days he has been mistreated, he might attack the officers which have caused him harm. Just the thought itself has driven imaginations of people screaming as the village falls into chaos.

This hasn't happened before, in all the years of the Uchiha guard of special forces, this is the first time a prisoner has escaped, and this feeling has never been scarier.

"Obito"

It is my fault, isn't it? Am I going to be the one to blame? Under shinobi law could I be charged as his side accomplice?

"Obito!" Kakashi yelled, snapping me out of my negative thoughts. "Over there" he pointed to the east, where a bright flame was ignited. The village looked like it was on fire. All of a sudden, that's when we saw it. A huge explosion occurs in front of us, dirt flew all over, I raised my hand to cover any from getting into my eye. The light thuds of rocks and dirt hit the ground, the next thing heard was another explosion which was much further. Kakashi motioned forward and ran, straight towards the direction of the explosion. My heart began beating faster, my eyes now tearing up from the dust. I felt almost overwhelmed to see the condition of this village.

and...

What was that explosion?

"No time to think, Obito..." I told myself as I started running, as fast as I could. As I got closer, the scene was more gruesome. The smoke of the fire is getting thicker, and our vision is blurred. It seems like both the Anbu and the police had been defeated, some of them were wailing in pain as their backs, arms and legs were burning as if they were caught in a close-ranged explosion. A few other ninjas were shaking, holding onto their injured friends and yelling for help. I think even the Hokage will be here soon. Wait, it's not safe here.

"Obito the Anbu will handle this from here on out.." Kakashi said stepping in front of me, as all the horrors of my sight were silenced for a moment. "This, this is an emergency, most of the villagers have been transported somewhere safe but the people in the Uchiha village..."

The people? The Uchiha clan are still here?

Why are they not transported to a safer place?

"What do you mean people in the- why..why are there people here? they should've been-" I asked as panic and anger started to rise. These motherfuckers. They didn't care to evacuate the Uchiha villagers, it's always our policemen who do so. With our policemen injured, the number of villagers who are casualties must increase more than imagined.

"Obito focus!" Kakashi yelled in a tone of pure calm but also chaos. Kakashi noticed my emotions fuming, but cleared my mind as saving those who are still alive is now a priority. I saw a squad of medical ninjas arriving at the scene, aiding the injured shinobi and police officers. I nodded in response, trying to gather myself as I ran towards the village. Kakashi lightly tapped my shoulder, as he went south towards the village. While I ran through the village, the smell of burnt explosives filled my nostrils, causing me to raise my hand up to cover my nose, letting out light coughs as I went on. I passed by the small roads which I used to run by as a kid, but this time the sight of these roads no longer hold the same nostalgia I had for them. It breaks my heart to see some of the houses on fire, concern fills my heart as I try to scout for any remaining villagers who are still here. The roads too had splatters of blood here and there.

How, did I cause this?

"Fuck...fuck..." I whispered under my breath as I ran straight for my house. Are any of the kids from the nearby block hurt? I should be able to hear help them if I went. I tried to hear for sounds of help or the wincing of pain from anyone from inside the village but it seems like most of them have been carried out by The Anbu Black Ops. My heart pounded faster as I looked around the block towards my house, hoping it didn't catch flames.

Just then, I felt a light thud behind my neck. My knees started to go numb, as I fell forward, hitting the right side of my face on the ground.

Before I passed out, I could hear footsteps, walking toward me.

Everything went black.

"Oi...up"

"Hello"

"Wake up you goddamn cop"

I opened my eyes, and the light from my nightlight shunned me. This comfortable feeling. My bed? I'm on my bed? How, how did I get here. Is, is this all a dream?

*Slap*

A sharp string across my face, as I turned towards my door. I froze, noticing a figure which was directly in front of me, I had a slight fear of facing it.

"Took you long enough," a familiar yet unfamiliar voice said.

As I turned to look forward, a pair of familiar cunning eyes looked back. A streak of blonde hair blew against the light tan skin of a familiar figure. A face, which I was not so familiar with though. But..Pretty...very pretty. A woman perhaps?. A smile formed on his face as he looked back, his smile wasn't genuine or happy, It was sinister. Evil. Ill-intended. It shook me to my core as I realised it, much different than before, but it was undoubtedly the same person.

Standing before me, was prisoner 505.

"Deidara?"

But this time, I could see it all better. His eyebrows raised upwards, showing that I was indeed correct. "D-Deidara-" I said, almost yelling. He quickly slapped his hand over my mouth, pushing me back. I fell on my back, my soft bed catching me. His hands remained in place, one cupping half of my face and the other, holding onto my wrists which are now pressed against my chest. His glare forming, warning me that if I made another sound, I am dead.

In a swift move, I used my Sharingan.

His eyes widen, almost in a trancelike state. Good, I got him now. All of a sudden, our eye contact broke.

"You think that works on me?" He asked, his eyes returned back to normal, a kunai knife pressed against my stomach. "They matched me with the wrong village..." he chuckled as I looked back at him in silence, my mind was not as calm as I thought of ways of escape. My eyes shifted around the lightly dim room, Understanding the dangerous circumstance which I am in.

"Listen, to what I have to say" he whispered, his voice more different than I expected, it sent shivers down my spine, for god knows what reason. His grip on my wrists tightened as he said his next line.

"I've listened to you talk, all this time..." he whispered under his breath, a cunning tone to his words.

"It's time for me, to talk."
