"Don't be so stubborn" Sasori groaned as I sat in front of him, pleading with him to let me go to the fair nearby the village we are staying. Sasori shook his head furiously. Well, his puppet's head to be more accurate. We are currently at an Inn, whilst on our way to a village, Sasori refuses to tell me about. I am currently on the floor, in front of the sofa asking Sasori for the room keys to go out, my efforts thus far have been futile.
Another thing, it has been 49 hours with Sasori, and I still have not seen his real form. He stays in his shell, avoiding me and my requests to leave the room. The only movement which makes me feel like he is communicating with me is the eyes which track my movement. "No one will recognise me!" I groaned, knowing that it is simply not possible for anyone to know me. "This village is a shinobi-protected village but that does not mean we are safe," Sasori said to me, his tone calm. I sighed as I fell forward onto my pillow. "We have to be cautious, we are part of a deadly organisation which should remain a secret..." Sasori added, sounding like a ranting parent at this point. Not that I would know what that is like.
Who knew being so careful is so boring?
"You are very reckless for someone who went to jail once..." Sasori said to me, the eyes of his puppet moved. I shifted myself upwards, looking back at him. "Jail?" I said, acting oblivious. "We all know you were caught" Sasori stated before going completely silent, choosing to ignore me. I looked up towards the ceiling, thinking whether it is a good decision to tell Sasori what truly happened. "I escaped, it was not something too difficult..." I said crossing my arms, sounding a little proud to convince Sasori. He didn't say anything after and just left me alone. I'm guessing he doesn't believe me.
I laid down on the futon as I thought about what happened back in the leaf village. Somehow, it is stuck in my head about what happened to the Uchihas. Obito seemed baffled when I told him I didn't know. Is there a reason for it? Is he okay back in the leaf village?
My eyes widen as I realised Obito had yet again slipped into my thoughts. I groaned out loud, causing Sasori to look at me. My hands reached up to my face, gently rubbing my face as I try to get the thought out of my head.
This can not be happening. Why is it that I keep thinking of him?
"Deidara you idiot..." I muttered under my breath as I rolled over. It's the kiss, it must be the kiss. Even if it was done spontaneously, why did I have to do it? I'm sure it was the kiss. The kiss is driving me insan-
"Deidara," Sasori said, his voice loud and stern, instantly cutting off my thoughts. I looked up at Sasori, I can feel him glaring at me through his puppet. Suddenly he threw over something long and shiny, I caught it in my hand.
A key.
"Go...leave the room," Sasori said, giving in to my begging. I grinned at him before getting up, before opening the locked door I could hear him mutter something about not being able to focus with my groaning and sighing. Either way, whatever I did has allowed me to enjoy bits of this mission.

As I walked down the village, I noticed I was getting closer to my destination, which was a small fair taking place, I had let all my hair down due to better disguise myself to blend in with the different people in the crowd. With my regular clothes, it would be very easy to look like any regular person. A sudden feeling of nostalgia hits me as I see a group of children playing, running around with their toys. The stalls of middle-aged workers call out for people to come to their stalls, but only if you glance at them."I like her hair" I hear a teenage girl whisper to her friend as they passed by me, I didn't know whether I liked it or hated it, considering they did think I was a woman. I pushed my hair out of my shoulders to ensure my flat chest could be seen, either they would think I am flat chested or that I am a man.
"You there! Good sir!"
I turned at this old man with half-patched clothing, he held onto a rope as he grinned at me. He moved back and showed me his little game stall, it was one of those games where you are given a ball to throw towards a set of cans. "Would you like to play? it is always good to start the weekend festival with games!" He said cheerfully as he handed me three balls which he quickly picked up. My eyes shifted towards the balls and unconsciously grabbed one, he placed the remaining few on the table in front of me, but he placed his hand on the ball a little longer than expected. He looked up at me, his eyes no longer reflecting the friendly image he had put on before.
"You are not a shinobi, are you? We don't allow shinobis to play" He said, his smiley face has now turned serious, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked directly at me. I looked back at him for a minute before smiling.
"I'm not a Shinobi, just a traveller," I said briefly before throwing at the set of cans.
4 cans fell, and there were 5 remaining.
"Seems like you are honest" The man roared out in laughter, his words almost sounding like a mock. I tried to keep up my smile but one thing I know is that I ultimately hate anyone who laughs at me. The man was still laughing when I decided to give it another shot.
I threw it again, I missed again but this time, out of again. Accidentally.
"Ah, yes, no Shinobi can throw as bad as that!" He continued laughing, my face now red from the anger I am holding in.
Don't bomb him.
Don't bomb him.
Don't bomb him.
Don't bomb him.
Don't bomb him.
"Don't bomb him." I heard a warm breath on my neck, followed by a cold breeze after.
I turned my head to my left but realised that no one was there, just then the last ball remaining flew from the right side of my shoulder, almost whirring with speed towards the stacked-up cans. I looked forward as the ball hit the board the cans were all stacked on, almost in slow motion I watched as all three sets of arranged cans fell, along with my 5 remaining ones. I looked down at the palm of my hand, I was sure that I had my hand gripped around it but the next minute, there it was hitting all of the cans off the shelf.
The man who was laughing hard has now stopped, looking at me in disbelief. "You...did that?" He asked as he took a few seconds to look back at the fallen tins and me. The loud clanking of the fallen cans has also caused everyone to turn their head toward us, some of them cheering for me too.
"Shinobi! He is a Shinobi!" He yelled, he shot me a distasteful look. By now, a crowd had started forming around me, some still amused at my throw and some glaring at me as if I had achieved my win through deceit. To be frank, I did not.
"Ah, fuck..." I muttered under my breath as I jumped upwards, landing on one of the roofs of the small huts. "There! Shinobi!" Another man yelled. Loud mutters of my sudden change in attitude had now been on display. In a minute or two they would just call someone to catch me under the deceit. I groaned as I knew I just had blown my cover, but without having to deal with my frustration for long, I felt a hand grab my wrist and pulled me.
In a split second, I fell onto hard cold cement. My vision was blurry, and the back of my head hurt. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed the dark atmosphere. In a place where squared-like concrete were aligned, it seemed as though I was in another universe. My arms seemed to be a tad bit weak, but I managed to get up. I sat upright, held onto the back of my head and looked around.
Where am I?
