Serendipity

The moon doesn't ask for attention,
Silent as can be.
Her glow waning slowly,
To be engulfed by the sea.

As the tides come wayward,
The moon is never seen.
Dawn light shining like crystals,
Screaming 'look at me'.

We're drawn to look at it's beauty:
Where the sun and moon do meet.
Where the moon will send a message
And make the sunlight complete.

For one could not live without the other;
An imperfect serendipity.
In two worlds oh so different,
Yet they're somehow meant to be.

The moon shall stay in hiding
And let the sun be the star of the show.
But don't let this fool you.
She's more powerful than you know.
