Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
No one ever knows
This is a disguise
You're broken
Lying about how you feel
You say you're fine
But you know that's not real
Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
One moment, your act slips
Everyone seems surprised
You know you're the one
To fix the crying hearts
You push back yourself
You have to play your part
Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
You say that you're fine
No one knows your lies
You can't let yourself slip
You don't want people to see
You don't want to be a burden
Everyone is happy
Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
You distract yourself
And watch how time flies
No one's hurt today
You let out a sigh
Mabye today
You finally get to cry
Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
You talk yourself out of it
You always fail when you try
You're hurting more and more
As each day goes by
You put on your face of plastic
At least you've got to try
Smile on your face
But nothing in your eyes
They know you smile is fake
They finally realise
Tears fall down your face
A waterfall of pain
You know people care
Nothing will be the same
As weight is off your chest
Nothing is dragging you down
You smile through teary eyes
As tears of happiness fall down
Smile on your face
Laughter in your eyes
But it's no longer fake
You've reached clear blue skies
