They had been on the table all week!
I stared at them all day so I know they had.
And they were the same pair for sure!
I know because the frames are bad.If you look at them closely they're slightly crooked.
Like someone sat on them a long time ago.
And I'm pretty sure they're rusted,
Unless it was just chipped paint but I wouldn't know.It was as if someone had thrown them underwater and made them scratchy
But the middle is snapped where you'd put your nose!
How would they sit there without a bridge?
They probably weren't like that in the first place though. The lens has a giant crack running through it.
Like someone tried to break out of some ice!
But they hadn't quite managed it.
If they trapped someone invisible that isn't very nice! The other side didn't match, clear and lensless
Unlike its cracked friend.
Was it a portal to another world?
If it is it ate the second lens.Where had they been?
What adventures have they been on?
They must've been taken around the world!
If I was invited I would've gone.Imagine swimming to the the top of the earth!
Is that how they trapped the invisible man?
What if the lens was stolen?
It could've been a villain's evil plan! They could've been sat on in a busy train,
One where everyone would be squished and tight.
Wait! They could've been I disguise for a superhero!
Then the nose would break in a powerful fight! But if they do have a portal to another world,
Could you see a unicorn? What if they let you see a ghost!
That would be so cool!
If that's the case my friends would watch me boast.I have to try them on!
It's the only way to see!
But as soon as I go to grab them,
Dad takes them away from me. :(
