Chapter 9

"So you thought, the teacher won't actually tutor you after both of you kissed," Sehun said after Chanyeol told his friends about what happened yesterday.

"Will you just lower down your voice? And yes, dammit," Chanyeol admitted.

Yifan sighed, "False hopes hurt."

"Truth hurts," Junmyeon remarked.

"Love hurts," Jongin added making Chanyeol turn to him. Chanyeol was shocked at first about what the guy said but he got himself collected after. "And what are you trying to imply?" Chanyeol asked raising a brow afterwards.

Jongin shrugged, "I don't know, you just told us what happened. You kissed him accidently, you liked it, you were hoping that you won't have a tutor after what happened but that didn't happen and you were hurt."

"So?" Chanyeol still haven't got his point.

"So tell us the truth, Chanyeol," Sehun said, "Do you like him?" They all went near to Chanyeol, waiting for his answer.

Chanyeol was thinking this since last night, he can't stop and he can't help himself because anytime soon, he knew he'll probably explode and so he told his friends when they met exactly at their room.

When both of them kissed, Chanyeol felt elated. He liked it. And it was not because of the kiss, it's because of what he was feeling. He just can't explain it but he thought he would lost his sanity thinking about it until now. He still hasn't moved on. The way his lips brushed Baekhyun's, it was amazing. It was the first time he felt after he kissed a lot of girls and guys. He was suddenly thinking, that maybe it just felt unfamiliar. But the unfamiliarity was strange for him because it was so surprising, maddening and he just don't know.

"So?" Jongin said with impatience waking him up to his senses.

"I...I just think..maybe...I don't know...that maybe I...like him?" Chanyeol admitted, sounding unsure but deep inside him, he just wasn't sure if it was the right time to tell them that he really liked the guy because somehow, it felt something more.

Chanyeol's friends were surprised with the confession that their mouth formed an 'o'. But after that, they smirked and gave Chanyeol a smug.

"And you said you were even planning to make him fall for you," Jongin 'tsked', "It was even you who fell in love." In love? He never thought of that but that made him thinking.

His thoughts were interrupted when Sehun gave a sudden outburst, "You what?"

Chanyeol shrugged. "It was before and I already changed my mind the day after I planned that until I ended up liking him," he explained.

Sehun just shook his head while Junmyeon patted his back. "We support you, Chanyeol. Just ask us if you need anything but if we end up getting detention because of you're plan. Sorry, I think I just won't," Junmyeon said and laughed after which the friends didn't appreciate and pretended to yawn and slump.

"Oh come on, guys. What did I do now?" Junmyeon whined.

"Stop your lame jokes," Sehun, being the blunt, said. The guy just rolled his eyes and arranged his seat on its proper place. The others sighed and followed their leader.

Moments after, the teacher came in already with a serious face. Chanyeol was happy that the teacher already arrived but seeing his face made him scared. "Good morning, class," Baekhyun greeted but there was no life to it. The students stood up and greeted the teacher back, they were all nervous obviously. They all sat back on their chair as they waited for the teacher to start.

"Class, today you're going to have our unit test. Hope you're going to have good scores, I'm not expecting any bad ones. Keep all your things under your desks, anyone that I will be caught cheating will be automatically scored to zero," he said sternly and seriously while looking at everyone. His serious stare piercing to each other's eyes, making Chanyeol gulp.
