Baekhyun opened his eyes. His vision was still blurry and he haven't got a clue of what happened. He tried sitting but he haven't got the strength to do so, so he just settled on lying down. He didn't know where he was and his eyes was still adjusting from the sight.
When his vision were already clear, he already knew where he was. The school's clinic. He groaned, he suddenly remembered what happened. He fainted, in front of the whole class. That was shameful, really.
"Oh, you're already awake," someone said. He looked at the side to see who it was, "C-Chanyeol?" Oh shit. Formalities, Baekhyun. You're still on school.
"Yeah, you fainted and I took you to the clinic," he said casually as he sat down on the bed right next to Baekhyun's. Baekhyun didn't know what to say and so he just muttered 'thanks' to the guy.
"You should really rest, Mr. Byun. You got the whole class worried about you," Chanyeol scolded worriedly.
Baekhyun just nodded. Usually, the words that Chanyeol had been saying just passed from the ear to the other. He usually doesn't take these things seriously though he already knew what to do. He just doesn't like to be reminded every time this happens. This was not the first time that happened to Baekhyun and he already got used to it, what happens before and after he fainted. He already knew that, but he felt different right now since it was Chanyeol who was saying those words.
"Uhm.. So how was the test, Mr. Park?" Baekhyun asked changing the subject and he was also curious at how did the test go for Chanyeol since he just taught him yesterday. He wanted to know if the tutor was a great help for him, because if it did, maybe he really needs someone who could teach him personally.
"It was fine. Pretty easy, I guess. Just took me time in solving the problems," Chanyeol honestly said and Baekhyun just gave him a nod.
"The tutoring worked. I guess that you really need one, right?" Baekhyun joked which Chanyeol took seriously. It wasn't just the tutor, it was you. That's what he thought after Baekhyun said those words. He was somehow wondering how could Baekhyun act normal after the kiss, when he can't even act normal. Maybe it was just a usual kiss for him, nothing too extraordinary. He thought but he knew more. He knew that Baekhyun had been thinking about it, he knew that Baekhyun had somehow liked it. False hopes hurt. Truth hurts. Love hurts. His friends' remarks repeated on his mind. But love? Chanyeol never believed in love but he was waiting for someone to prove it to him. Hurt. He never thought he could use that, but it was very strange because he never was hurt. Not his entire life, not in his life.
"So... about the kiss," Chanyeol suddenly said making Baekhyun's eyes to widen. He didn't regret he open up the subject, he wanted to know what Baekhyun had felt about it, if it was mutual or not. "Do you like it?" Here goes nothing. He thought.
It took time for Baekhyun to process the question the latter was asking. Do I like it? He already knew the answer, but it feels strange admitting it, and in front of a player. He didn't want to get played, he wanted to be sure. "How about you, Mr. Park? Do you like it?" He asked him while playing a smirk on his lips.
Chanyeol was shocked, not at the question but at Baekhyun. He's smirking. At me. Goddamn. It made it hard for him to answer the question because of the smirk but he remembered that Baekhyun was waiting so he got himself ready. Ready for Baekhyun's reaction, ready for his judgement, ready for his answer. It took up a lot of courage before he started, "When we kissed, it was different. I don't know. I've got this feeling inside of me that just exploded but it was overwhelming. I can't explain it but it was amazing. So if you ask me if I like the kiss, I did, Mr. Byun. But, how about you? I want you to be honest, sir. Because I am. I really am."
