Epilogue

Baekhyun was nervous for this. This is the moment. He thought as he looked at himself at the mirror, fixing his tuxedo properly. He turned his back from the mirror and looked at his bed, a black and neat tie sprawled properly on it, waiting to be fixed around his neck.

He heaved out a deep sigh before he went to it and put it around his neck, fixing it properly before doing the ties and locks. He looked at himself in the mirror once again before telling himself that he looked fine and ready to go. He sighed again before walking his way to the desk near his bed, grabbing his watch. He put it around his wrist and after that checked the time on it. 8:27 pm. It was almost 9 and the driver is still not around to get him, he had to remind himself later on to fire that old guy for letting him wait. But for now, he had to compose himself and make sure that he looked presentable and formal.

Moments later, a knock on his door was heard and he hurried up to open it, revealing D.O in a tuxedo uniform just like him. He shot the doe-eyed guy a brow which was replied by a roll of the eyes from the latter. "The driver got sick and we need to drive the car on our own," D.O said as Baekhyun groaned and muttered a curse under his breath. "I know we should've fired him before," he grumbled and walked outside, closing the door of his room harshly.

"He was sick. I think that was reasonable," D.O retorted as both of them walked their way down the stairs. The click clacking of their shoes were clear and distinct among the marble floors.

"I don't care. This is a special day, he shouldn't have gotten sick," Baekhyun replied stubbornly as they were already making their way downstairs. Their shoes' click clacking turned into soft thuds on the carpeted stairs.

D.O rolled his eyes. "How couldn't he got sick? You were ordering him around nonstop. Seriously, Baekhyun? You need to stop reprimanding all the time."

Baekhyun just ignored his brother and replied with a short snicker before they finally reached the main door which leads outside. The Butler opened it for them and both the guys went outside, revealing a grand limousine parked properly just outside. Baekhyun went to it and opened the driver's seat while D.O sat on the passenger's seat next to Baekhyun's.

Baekhyun ignited the engine and the familiar soft sound of the vehicle signalled him to start driving, which the guy did. As much as he was nervous for the event to turn out well, he didn't want it to get over him and made himself be calm and collected

When both of them finally reached the hall. Baekhyun parked his car in a reserved space which was opened by one of the attendants of the place. The guys immediately went out as both of them checked the time on their watch. 8:45 pm. It was still early from the said starting time but they have to entertain the guests, they're probably looking for them.

Baekhyun and D.O made their way towards the big hall which the event held. The program will start as soon as 9 pm arrives with an opening remark by no other than the heir, Byun Baekhyun. The event is a special one for the guy because this will be the time where it will be formally announced that he's going to take charge of the company already after the years of training had gone.

Two years were a worth because Baekhyun had grown to be more mature and responsible in handling the business. Well, it wasn't for a help of a few people in the company.

Baekhyun and D.O separated their ways to entertain the guests formally. They had talked to a few and remained their smile to the persons they talk to. Their jaws felt hurt already because of the smile that they have to keep plastered in their face. But they need to do that since the guests they're facing is very important. The guests are the most popular and prestigious company holders and owners in Japan. It won't be a surprise if a company becomes one of their investors or shareholders.

Two years before, Baekhyun had a hard time coping up with life. It was hard because of the heartbreaking breakup with Chanyeol. He didn't even want to hear his name. But he had to move on. Time flew by and he was told to train in holding their family's company. It was such a loss when their parents died but people in the company had immediately find its way to solve the problem. And that's to train him quickly.

Baekhyun oblige, if it was for his parents, he'll do everything. He used the training as the time where he could get himself preoccupied to forget everything that has happened. Baekhyun and D.O flew to Japan to start their training there. Even his brother needs to undergo training since he was going to be Baekhyun's executive assistant when the time comes.

Years passed and they were doing good. D.O was recognized by people as Baekhyun's brother and they willingly accepted him as a family. Thinking that Baekhyun had long move on, they were already good. They were already happy.

"Good evening, everyone," the emcee began, making everyone's attention turn to the stage in front, "It is a pleasure for the Byun family to see all of you here. This event was made to formally introduce to everyone the heir of the Byun Holdings. Along with it, we're also going to witness the introduction of a long hidden family member, the soon to be executive assistant . But before those, let us all hear out the opening remarks of Byun Holdings' heir. Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome, Byun Baekhyun!"
