Teach Me (BaekYeol Fanfic)

Chapter 22

Chanyeol hated the new teacher. And not because it confronted him or it humiliated him in front of the whole class, which didn't happen, but it was because the teacher was really boring. She was boring, in fact, he almost slept and snored in the class. He almost lost hope in education when that teacher apeared. He thought she didn't even know a single thing about what she was talking because all she do was to just read her book, never minding that the students didn't understand what she was saying.

All she do was to give activities, assignments and quizzes which all of them answered correctly. But what the new teacher didn't know that they all had the same answers since she was very oblivious at what was happening in their class. Yes, the new teacher was that oblivious. And to think she clings around with Chanyeol! He wanted to puke at the thought that the old teacher had a thing for him and he tried his best to avoid the lady.

But the whole week was a worth when Saturday already came. He was feeling ecstatic about their date and he hoped nothing bad would happen again. Their first date was tragic and the second was worst. He hoped the third date would finally be a success because if it won't, he'll be ready for the fourth date. If there's going to be any. But Chanyeol won't let anything happen to ruin this date. As much as he can, he will do everything to make Baekhyun happy.

Chanyeol went out of his house with a simple black jacket and an inner cloth with skinny jeans to top that. It was simple and he hoped it would be enough to make Baekhyun drool just like what the latter made him. He was currently thinking if he would bring his car or just take a cab because he was too lazy to even drive. But he ended up bringing his car since he wanted to save money.

He went to his garage and opened it widely. He walked his way to his car as he checked it if it was in condition. And sure enough, it was. He grabbed his keys, opened the car door and went in after that. Chanyeol ignited the engine as the familiar sound of the car went, signalling it was ready to drive. He smirked. "That's it, baby. Let's drive," he said in his deep voice as he drove the car backwards to place it outside his house. He successfully made it out his garage as the garage closed automatically. Chanyeol began to take down his car on the road, driving his way to Baekhyun's house.

Just then, his phone vibrated and all he could do was to look at it before stopping as he noticed the car ahead. It was traffic. He opened his side window and looked outside. There was an accident up ahead that made the cars stuck and lined itself in the road. Chanyeol went back and groaned, pressing his honk continuously, hoping the traffic would move but it didn't.

He grabbed his phone and checked who texted, only to see it's Baekhyun. His mood automatically changed as a smile crept its way to its mouth. He opened the message and can't help himself but to grin when he read it.

Good morning. I missed you. Hope you come here safely.

Shit. Chanyeol wanted to rip his heart out then and there. He missed me! He wanted to shout and immeditely teleport his way towards Baekhyun's house because he also missed the latter very much. He wanted to text a reply but suddenly, the car in front of him moved. He was hoping it would stop after a few but it didn't. It moved continously and soon after, he moved his car forward, keeping distance from the car in front.

The cars soon cleared as the road became easy and the traffic dispersed into a normal one. He watched as he passed through buildings and streets, hoping he would reach Baekhyun's house anytime soon. He memorized the way to the guy's house like it was noted at the back of his palms.

And soon enough, the building cleared as the road became empty. He drove his car faster, knowing there weren't any cars up ahead. He knew he was almost near to Baekhyun's house and he can't wait to see him again after a long week. The week was pretty much exhausting without the guy. He felt like he could die anytime soon but thinking of Baekhyun made him think otherwise.
