Chapter 25

The door opens and closes as people goes in and out of the restaurant, the bell rang with glee when that happens. Warm happiness and enjoyable calmness surrounded the place with a very peaceful and melodic music to top the aura. Pleasant and adorning lights luminated the whole room adding up to the calm atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a great place to finally talk to Baekhyun's man personally.

Baekhyun's parents had set up a dinner with Chanyeol the other day and he was feeling bemused about it. He was hell-like shock, of course but at the same time very happy that his parents had decided to give him a chance. He thought this was impossible and for once, he wanted to slap himself to see of this was even real. But what the heck, it's the reality. It was unbelievable.

But what bothers him if he might do something ridiculous in front of Baekhyun's parents. Or if he might say something odd and pathetic. Or even worse, he would do both of them. They'll probably hate him and curse him, judge him or maybe they'll find him as a stupid, idiotic creepy yoda who doesn't deserve to be with Baekhyun. And hell no, he can't afford having an outcome like that. He should probably be careful at what he'll say and do.

He had done a lot of research at how to face your boyfriend's parents. And he'd learn a lot alright. He learnt that he shouldn't be very stiff, he should look comfortable.

And that's what he's doing right now... being stiff. He didn't really look comfortable at the moment. His tight jeans seems like it's too tight for him when actually it's his exact size. His white, fitting sweater makes him feel like choking. His posture wasn't that comfortable either. So the first might have been a big failure since he can't make himself comfortable. How can he when he felt like pooping at the situation he was having.

Second, he also learnt that he shouldn't be very nervous that anytime soon he's going to pee in his pants. Maybe a little nervous is fine but too much would definitely put you to a danger zone or also known as peeing-on-your-own-pants zone. Tsk. That's very risky. Chanyeol harshly shook his head at the thought of peeing on his own pants. But despite the calming and peaceful atmosphere, he can't help but be a little bit too much in his nervousness, which is really bad.

On the other hand, he had also learnt to be just simply yourself. It would have been easy if he wasn't creepy and derpy (that's what he thought, which is actually true, btw). But what the heck, it says be yourself so he have to be himself. He didn't even know how to be himself at the moment actually but he's got 5 more minutes to be ready and prepare himself.

Baekhyun, on the other hand, was oblivious about this meeting. He haven't told him since Chanyeol wanted to make it as a surprise. He just made an excuse that he can't have a date today with him because he had a lot of things to do, like school and stuff. Well, that wasn't even true, of course but he hoped Baekhyun would understand. Baekhyun would surely be happy about this, in fact, very happy to the point that he'll let him do anything he wants (like that make-out session which was cut off).

Chanyeol surpressed a chuckle, thinking about that cut make-out session makes him pissed off but at the same time funny. He was pissed off because it was cut and he find it funny because of the same reason. He'll definitely go 'all the way' if there's a chance. And he swore he won't let anyone cut it. Even Baekhyun. But of course, he didn't want to be called aggressive, so if Baekhyun doesn't want that, then he doesn't want that either (but of course he wants it).

His thoughts were suddenly disrupted when he saw a familiar couple up ahead of him. They were middle-aged but their faces doesn't look like it, they look young. Their clothes made them look fancy and luxurious, making it obvious that they were absolutely rich.

Chanyeol's stomach churned in nervousness and he felt nauseating. This is it. He thought. He didn't want to impress Baekhyun's parents because all he wanted to do is to make them accept, not only him, but also the love he was having with Baekhyun. He immediately stood up and bowed politely in front of them, which was responded with a genuine smile.
