We went into the entrance hall, where a pale Mr Schmidt first ran towards us and then he ran out. Vladimir followed him, looking concerned. I don't buy that from him. We followed them. There lay Markus. Mr Schmidt checked whether he still had a pulse. "How could that happen?" he asked Vladimir. "When we were up there, he was suddenly gone. A short time later I saw him standing on the balcony and he jumped. I'm still shocked," Vladimir said horrified. "How can you prove that?" I asked provocatively. "Amy, don't be so rude, it wouldn't be the first time after Amelie. And as you can see, he's still in shock. He couldn't do anything," said Mr Schmidt. Vladimir sneered at me. Only the others didn't notice. I glared at him angrily.

Markus' fall from the balcony as seen by Vladimir

I suggested searching with Markus, it was arbitrary, but he would die anyway. Imre and I were going to take care of the others. I went with him to the third floor. "Shall we go to the balcony and see if he's outside?" I asked him. I tried to steer him there. "Yeah, good idea," he said. What an idiot, he actually trusts me blindly. We went out onto the balcony. "Look, is that him there?" I asked him.

He leaned over the parapet. There was nothing there, but I wanted it exactly like that. "No..." but he didn't get any further because I threw his legs over the parapet. "Hey, what's that about?" asked he. He was just holding on. "It was nice to meet you. Although probably not," I said maliciously and stepped on his fingers. He let go and fell down about 10 meters.

He would never survive that. I ran to Malte to inform him. "Malte, Markus jumped off the balcony," I said, feigned shock. He turned deathly pale. I enjoyed the sight. He didn't even know that I had called him back then because I changed my voice. He ran ahead and I followed him.

Downstairs Amy and Fabi were standing looking confused. How I hate that brat. She seems to suspect me, I need to be more careful with her. I would love to get rid of her here and now, but there was the boy who is always with her and it would be too obvious. I'll take care of her, but not just yet.

When we were outside, Mr Schmidt knelt down to the boy and checked if he still had a pulse. "How could that happen?" he asked me. "When we got up, he was gone. I saw him standing on the balcony and he just jumped like that. I'm still in shock," I said pityingly. Malte really bought my goo theatre from me. "And can you prove that?" Amy asked me provocatively. Just as I was about to reply, Malte intervened. "Amy, don't be so rude, it wouldn't be the first time after Amelie. And as you can see, he's standing still in shock. He couldn't do anything!" he said sharply.

I sneered at her, making sure only she saw. She glared at me angrily. I would have thought she was as naive as the others, but I seem to have underestimated her. I found her angry sight really amusing. Sevent more students and Malte, when they are eliminated, Imre's soul will definitely belong to me.

From Amy's point of view

How could Mr Schmidt defend him, he must have noticed that something was wrong with Vladimir. Why does he trust him like that? I don't think I'm just imagining it and overreacting. At least Fabi believes me, that means a lot to me. I think that without him I would go insane and lose my nerve.

"Thank you, that at least you believe me" I said to Fabi and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. He blushed slightly. "Let's go in," he said smiling because he wanted me away from Vladimir. He doesn't trust him either.

Once inside, Simon came towards us. "I really don't think Markus committed suicide. He wasn't like that," said Simon. He had known him for ages. "We think Vladimir had something to do with it," said Fabi. "Yes, sure. Markus would never have done something like that voluntarily because he loved his life," said Simon.

He seems to have finally woken up now. "I'm going to tell Mr Schmidt what I told you," he said firmly. "That won't do any good. Mr Schmidt trusts Vladimir blindly," I said. "Vladimir is making me angry," Simon said, clenching his hands into fists. "Would you like to search the first floor for Thomas with us?" asked Fabi to distract him. "Yes, why not," he said.
