Ever since you joined the Firelights it was an ultimate task to try and get Jinx, not only cause she was the daughter of Zaun's leader, but she have been causing chaos for a long while now.

Of course you wouldn't admit it but you found her to be quite interesting with her bomb shenanigans, and with quite interesting you meant you couldn't deny she was extremely pretty and cute in her own way, but again, that's something you'd never admit to yourself nor any of your firelight friends.

But as much as you tried to hide your attraction to the blue haired girl the universe seemed to have other plans for you as Ekko, your fellow leader, sent you on a recon mission across the undercity to try and find another point of shimmer trading, what you didn't know it was that someone was following you not so far behind.

As you walked into an alley to see if there was an undercover way of going forward without using your hoverboard to not drag too much attention, you took a turn that unfortunately led to a dead end which only made you sight on annoyance, but as you were turning to leave something (more like someone) pinned you to the wall and suddenly a knife was against your neck

"Well heya there ya pretty thing" and in a second, none other than the bomb maker herself, her deep blue eyes staring right at your soul with that devilish smile of hers "What? Cat's got ya tongue?"

Ok, you knew you probably should've started to make plan on freeing yourself and maybe fighting Jinx, but you almost couldn't help it when she was so close to you

"Look, I don't know what you think I was doing, but I wasn't, ok? So how about you just let me go and pretend this never happened?" Of course you didn't wanna fight her, not only because of you crush on her, but also because everyone told you to not underestimate her slim body

"Haha, nice try baby" You were sure she had the most beautiful laugh you've ever heard in your life "But I'm afraid that's not possible"

"Why would you want anything to do with me?" At this point she somehow got even closer and pressed her knife a little harder

"You think I'm dumb? That I don't see how you always look at me with your other dumb firelight friends?" Fuck. It was your though after she acknowledged your endless staring at her "I know a lot of people don't like me, so I'm gonna have you before you have me, hah, and I just can't wait for the fun I'll have with such a pretty thing like you!"

"Is that a threat or are we flirting?" You asked raising a brow at her

"I literally have a knife against your neck" She said in such a surprise expression that you almost laughed

"That doesn't answer my question" You said with a smile ghosting on your lips "But I would definitely prefer the flirting"

After a minute of Jinx seemingly thinking, in a swift move she got off of you and looked behind whispering something you couldn't hear, maybe she was just talking to herself

"Okay, maybe you're not as boring as those stupid friends of yours" She now looked up and down at you "And you're definitely cuter, ya know I wouldn't mind getting to know you better, maybe we cou-"

An extremely loud noise cut her off and she was definitely annoyed by it, when she started following it you ran after her

"Wait! Where you serious about it?

"Sheesh! I was just kidding!" Then she looked at you and smiled "Or maybe I wasn't. Anyway see ya around, toots!" And as quick as she made herself known she disappeared into darkness

Maybe, just maybe, you could pretend to Ekko that you didn't saw anything, just this time wouldn't hurt right?
