"Ya'll are really gonna try to ambush a twelve year old like this? Shame on you clowns!"

Y/n reared back her fist and delivered one final punch to the Sunakagure ninja's, knocking him out. She let go of the front of his uniform, letting him collapse onto the ground as she glanced down the hall where they'd come from.

The floor was littered with the four other ninja who had jumped her, excluding the two who had pretended to be Granny and Tatsuya.

She winced, instinctively grabbing at the wristband on her right wrist when pain began to surge through that arm, "Crap! I overdid it!"

She shook her arm violently, letting out tiny "ow"s and "ouchie"s as she stood there in the hall.

There were dents in the walls and cracks in the floor from the struggle, mostly a result of bodies being body slammed and punched across the hall.

After a moment, y/n let out a sigh and rolled her shoulders, "I need to go tell Tatsuya and Granny as quickly as possible! Ah, but what even is happening?"

Otokagure ninja... Sunagakure ninja... Aha!
It really was an invasion!

"Man, I didn't think it was actually an invasion. I kinda just said it to be cool..." she murmured then shrugged, "Eh, whatever."

Y/n quickly ran off in the direction which she recalled Granny and Tatsuya sitting in. She could go back to retrieve her kanabou later.

Granny and Tatsuya were near Sakura, Ino, and Choji, right? Easy! She could just find them by tracking Sakura down by her chakra!

"I'm so smart! Hehe!" y/n snickered, proud of herself.

Y/n was still running around even some time after Naruto's match had ended, having to stop several times to ease the pain coursing throughout her body.

She also got lost several times.

Eventually, she made it back to where Kankuro, Temari, Shino, Gaara, Shikamaru, and Naruto were chilling.

"Seriously?!" y/n demanded when she realized just where she was, "Oh, come on, after all that running!"

"Mm? Y/n? What're you doing here?" Naruto questioned, giving his best friend a curious look.

"I was looking for Granny and Tatsuya but it looks like I got lost." y/n explained, "But, anyways, we've got a huge problem! It's those weirdos from Otoga-"

Out of nowhere, Temari threw a bean at the oni which went right into her mouth. What amazing aim!

Shikamaru's face went blank.
Shino sighed.
Naruto looked mortified.
Y/n visibly paled.

"..."

"..."

"*high pitched screeching. you know, your typically twelve year old screaming their lungs out*"

Naruto panicked when y/n dropped to the floor, "H-Hey! Y/n, get up! Oh come on, she was about to say something."

'Aye bro, what is this betrayal?' y/n thought irritably as Naruto frantically shook her, 'I knew those sand siblings were in on the whole invasion thing but to think they'd stoop this low to get me to stfu. Ugh, the audacity!'

"I'm fine-!" y/n choked out, waving Naruto off, "Just give me a moment... I can handle it! I just need a breather."

"She's lying. She's going to pass out and stay out for an hour." Shino said flatly and y/n lost consciousness not even a moment later, "See what I mean?"
