(Kisame genuinely scares the living 💩 out of me so I decided to make him soft and cuddly)

(Big brother vibes make him a little more tolerable and less terrifying, just bear with it for the chapter)

Itachi knew y/n was going to be a handful.
From the very beginning, he knew.

He knew the little Oni would give him a headache. He just didn't expect Kisame to contribute to that headache as well.

The Uchiha's RBF was seconds away from breaking as y/n kept talking Kisame into buying her food.

Funny how within a few hours, y/n managed to actually start getting along with the Akatsuki Member who had literally kidnapped her.

Her nosebleed had ceased and the three of them needed to get going, but the two idiots who now shared a brain cell insisted on getting ice cream.

Itachi went along with it because it meant that there would be no more complaining from y/n.

It was a relief that she was content with all the food she'd managed the scam Kisame into buying for her, considering how she didn't complain much else as the trip continued.

Welp, Kisame seemed to have earned at least a little bit of her trust. That'd make the next piece easier.

"Hey, Shrimp."

"I'm no shrimp! I'm taller than everyone else my age!" y/n said with pride and yelped when Kisame smacked her on the forehead, "Hey!"

"Well I'm still taller than you, so you're a Shrimp." he informed her and the girl scowled, "Tell you what, I know a way for you to prove that you're no shrimp."

Y/n's eyes lit up, "What is it? I'll do it in a heartbeat!"

Where was no way that would work.

While y/n was indeed a stupid twelve year old, there was no way Kisame would actually manage to convince y/n to lead them to-

"I sense that old geezer who copied my style not too far off. I imagine Naruto is with him as well... but if it's the old geezer you need, I can lead you to him!" y/n chimed.

"Nice! Lead the way, and I'll buy you more ice cream." Kisame said with a sharp toothed grin as he ruffled the proud little girl's hair.

Itachi deadpanned, 'It actually worked?'

Okay, so maybe y/n didn't like Jiraiya. She didn't know who these guys were, but if they had intentions to beat him up she was up for it.

She even considered joining in as well!

It wasn't like she was jealous about him stealing her best friend away from her or anything...

The group continued on, y/n eagerly asking Kisame to play a game of I Spy with her.

It seemed the more time the two spent interacting, the less y/n wanted to claw his face off and the less Kisame wanted to punt her.

It was better than them fighting.

That was what Itachi kept telling himself.
