𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲 ✘ 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐨 [I forgot about this 💀]

𝗔 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ　Ｆｏｒｔｙ－Ｏｎｅ

Y/n, for such a loving and friendly oni, was indeed capable of feeling rage. It was usually controlled, the young lady keeping a tight hold on it by cracking jokes and throwing childish insults.

But she had a breaking point, Naruto had seen it before. She was careful to keep herself under control when around the locals of Konoha, but there were times where she just couldn't hold it for long enough.

Her state of fury was terrifying to Naruto, and y/n never failed to notice. It'd been years since the first time y/n's patience had run out, specifically while Naruto was nearby. But it seemed as though she'd been brought to her limit yet again.

Team Guy had spread out to remove the four seals scattered around the surrounding area, while Team Kakashi and Granny Chiyo stayed in front of the entrance to the base.

After all five seals were removed, and Sakura punched the massive boulder to bits, the remaining four shinobi hurried in to investigate the loud explosions and bangs.

Upon entering, Naruto's eyes quickly found y/n.

There she was, fist slamming right into Deidara's face. The force was enough to crack the earth beneath them and the Akatsuki member was sent flying into a wall, the sickening crack being enough for Naruto to know that bones were broken.

There was the clinking of metal as y/n grabbed ahold of the metal tail on Sasori next, ignoring the pain as the barbed end managed to stab her in the shoulder.

From how y/n was gripping the tail, the metal was tearing into her skin and drawing blood. Whether y/n noticed or not didn't stop her from tugging on the tail, causing the second Akatsuki member to lose his balance as he was dragged towards the furious oni.

Upon nearing, she rammed her head against his hard enough to force him to the ground. Before he could even think to get up, y/n slammed her elbow into his hunched back.

Man, y/n could be a chiropractor!

Naruto winced as y/n kicked the Sasori dude away with a frustrated shout. Yeah... maybe not.

The look on her face was one that reminded Naruto of a rampaging beast. It was just as scary as he remembered.

"Y/n!" Sakura yelled and the oni paused.

Her furious expression softened, turning into one of confusion then alarm when she spotted her teammates, sensei, and Granny Chiyo standing there.

She wasn't really given the chance to say anything, really, Sasori's metal tail literally coming out of nowhere and whacking her in the stomach.

The oni flew. Like, actually.

She was flying in Naruto direction and- oh 💩, she was flying in his direction! She was gonna hit him!!!

Y/n collided with Naruto, sending both of them to the ground in a tangle of arms and legs as they tumbled across the cave and hit a wall.

The Oni was immediately moving to hop back into the fight but halted when she spotted Naruto.

"Y/n! What happened to Gaara?" Naruto demanded, grabbing ahold of her arm before she could think to move again.

"Huh... Gaara..?" she mumbled, the unfocused look in her eyes being the first sign that she had probably taken some bad hits before she took that damn metal tail to the gut, "Naruto, he-!"

Y/n didn't finish her sentence, catching sight of a few tiny spiders made of clay on her shoulder.

Her e/c eyes widened and she shoved Naruto, practically throwing him with a, "Get out the way!"
