Meanwhile in London, England:

An entire year had passed since the Pevensies had left Narnia. One whole year and not a peep from Narnia since. The four children were beginning to lose hope. Susan appeared to be quite content with the new situation, as she believed that they were stuck with their lives the way they were now and would not return, whilst the other three still clung to the hope that they could make it to their second home once again.

After they had accidentally returned to England, Lucy spent most of her nights trying to get back to Narnia through the wardrobe. Susan and Peter lost count of the amount of time they found her asleep in the middle of the night on the wardrobe floor, fur coats flung around the room.

They had all remained at Diggory Kirke's house a few more months after their adventures in Narnia. It was safe to say the children had a far closer bond than they did before they arrived at the old house. However, they all eventually had to return to London for boarding school, upon their mother's command. Lucy was the most reluctant to leave the Professor's home, simply because of how badly she wanted to return to Narnia.

Unfortunately for them, the children went to separate boarding schools. Peter and Edmund went to Hendon House for boys whilst Susan and Lucy went to Saint Finbar's for girls. Peter had the hardest time with boarding school; he had a hard time adjusting from being a King to a low-class teenage boy. As a result of this, he often got into fights, much to the dismay of his mother and sisters. Edmund thought it was all quite amusing.

*Beep Beep!*

A car horn blasted at the young girl running across the middle of the road. "Mind yourself, Love!" The man driving the vehicle called out to the reckless school girl.

Lucy stopped wide-eyed.

"I'm sorry!" She whimpered, cocking her head to the side slightly. She continued to run across the street as another car honked its horn at her.

"Watch where you're going!" Another man yelled at her yet she didn't listen, finding her sister was the priority.

"Susan!" Lucy called to Susan, who gave her younger sister an annoyed look as she ran up to her, out of breath. Susan had recently become very concerned with how she was viewed in society, whereas her siblings were happy to be themselves. She hated having attention drawn to herself, which stemmed from her time in Narnia where potential suitors would often try and start a romance with the young Queen.

"You better come quickly," Lucy encouraged while Susan gave the girl one quick look before setting down her newspaper and picking up her luggage, leaving the random boy she was talking to. The two sisters ran across the street to the train station where Lucy had recently heard that there was trouble involving Peter down in the underground stairwell.

Sure enough, when the girls arrived, there were loads of ruckus and shouting down a suitcase leading to one of the trains. The crowd was full of both St Finbar's and Hendon House students as both of the schools were travelling together. All the children were chanting "Fight, Fight, Fight!" But the girls couldn't see what was happening. After pushing through the crowd, Lucy stood halfway down the stairs, Susan observing just over her sister's shoulder.

At first, it was difficult to make out who was fighting, but then Susan caught sight of a familiar mop of dirty blond hair. It was Peter. He was being held by two boys that pinned his arms back and another boy coming right for him. Peter made eye contact with his sisters and seemed to give them an apologetic look whilst Susan frowned her look of disapproval at him whilst Lucy still stood looking genuinely concerned.

Peter was being pinned against the wall while one of the boys charged at him and started to punch Peter continuously in the gut. After struggling against the boy's grip, he was able to free an arm and he began throwing punches at the boy that was beating him. The three boys continued to fight for a few more moments when all of a sudden, the two girls were being shoved from behind. When Lucy turned to see who it was, she made eye contact with Edmund who was joining the fight to help his brother.
