3rd Person:
The Narnian crowd cheered as Peter majestically made his way out of the How. Edmund was on one side and Gwen was on the other. Currently, if Peter had any fear, you wouldn't be able to detect it on his face. Either he wasn't scared or he was very good at hiding it. Probably the latter.
All three royals were fully dressed in armour.
Gwen had her sword sheathed against her right hip and her bow was in her quiver alongside many arrows. Her family watched nervously as she walked forward with the two Kings of old.
From The Opposite Side Of The Battle Square:
The newly crowned King Miraz began whispering to Lord Sopespian and General Glozelle when he caught a glimpse of the young royals.
"If it should appear to be going poorly..." The King hissed, like the snake he is, whilst directing the men's attention to the eagle-shaped crossbow, resting in the General's hand.
"Understood, Your Majesty," Glozelle responded.
"Oh, and if either of you gets the chance... I want you to eradicate that Narnian loving niece of mine." He spat, glaring at the beautiful young Princess, walking alongside the High King of Narnia.
Little did he know that General Glozelle also had his gaze fixated upon Guinevere but for a very different reason.
*Flashback Start*
Long ago, back in the village of Telmar, a young man had been newly employed to the royal army. His life was finally falling into place. He had a job with a decent wage and he also had the love of his life.
This woman was a young beautiful girl called Eleanor. The pair genuinely fell for each other, they were each other's first real love. They had a plan to build a life and start a family, until one fateful day.
The young man, known as Glozelle, found his love Eleanor weeping silently under the village's willow tree. The tears stained her cheeks, as her breath was heavy.
The young woman had been offered a betrothal by her father and the man had accepted. That man was King Caspian IX. This meant that Eleanor would soon become the new Queen of Telmar.
The soldier had gone to propose to his love, with a ring he had purchased with his first wage, only to find her crying. He dropped his overjoyed expression and ran to Eleanor, taking her small dainty hands into his own.
"Eleanor... my love, are you okay?" The young soldier, not yet General, asked the love of his life.
"Glozelle... We can't be together anymore. I have been betrothed, to King Caspian IX." The young woman wept, in the arms of the man, she deemed to be her first love.
As heartbroken as Eleanor was, she knew it was for the best. She had financial security as the Queen and could have constant support for her family. The young girl also knew that she could learn to love the King. He was a good, handsome man who was kind and respectful to his people; however, he just wasn't Glozelle.
The man had recently joined the Telmarine army so he could propose to the beautiful woman he loved so dear. The plan was that he would be able to buy a small house in the outskirts of the castle (Army perks) and they could get married and raise a family. But now all that was being taken away by the very man he had sworn to guard and protect with his life.
He was just heartbroken, not only because there was no option for Eleanor but because he could provide nothing compared to the life she would receive as a Queen.
That was the day he was forced to let his love go. He had to forget about the one woman he truly loved. That was the day he grew bitter against the royal family. The day when Miraz received his most loyal servant and his evil plan for power could take motion.
