"I'm sorry . . . you want me to run away with you?" she asked . Patrick nodded and shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal, to him it wasn't. But for Lily , it was way more complicated. 

"Sure, if you want to call it that" Patrick said, picking at the grass boreally 

" But I cant just leave Patrick, I'm 16 , almost 17. I have like year left of high school. I mean your not even in high school any more , right" Lily said, waving her hands around. She was trying to make sense in what Patrick was trying to say .  

" Yeah but me not being in school is not the point" he said 

" You get amazing grades ,right?" Patrick said

" yeah, what about it" Lily said

" cant you like , graduate early or some shit." Patrick said. He remembered that some one in his year graduated early. He was sure Lily could do the same.

"I mean i have enough credits but I'll have to see once i get back to school " she said

" so good, it's set were leaving " Patrick said

" No Patrick. i cant " she said firmly . Patrick's face dropped and he coldly looked at lily , 

" I mean I like you Patrick, I really really like you-"

"- But i cant just leave like you can , i have things here-"

" Like what? friends? you have none. Family? sure, but they wouldn't miss you if you fucking died" Patrick spat in anger, Lily gaped at him and blinked in disbelief. tears started to brim her eyes as she let his word sink in.  

" Fuck you , Patrick" Lily spat back, this was the first time Patrick had ever heard her curse, and he didn't like it . Lily got up  and stormed off to her bike. Patrick got up and go after her , he was starting to regret what he said

" Lily, baby. i trying to saying that I'll be there for you no matter what" he yelled to her

" DON"T 'BABY' ME!" Lily yelled back , grabbed her bike up form the ground  .

" I trying to say I love you Lily" Patrick said frustrated , Lily stopped and tilted her head towards Patrick. She cant believe him , one minute he's practically insulting her and now he's saying that he loved her. Patrick caught up to her, grabbed a hold of her shoulders and turning her around, her bike falling form her grasp and back onto the ground .She still had tears in her eyes. 

"Let go" she demanded , trying to get out of his hold.

" No listen to me, I love you . I love you" he said seriously

" No you don't, you're just saying that so i wont leave. You selfish prick" she said, she finally got out of his hold and turned around

"NO, don't fucking turn away from me. I LET YOU IN, I LET YOU DO THINGS I WOULDNT LET A WHORE DO!" he yelled furiously, harshly turning her back around

" what are you telling me? I'm a whore or something" Lily retorted, pushing Patrick away and shoving him backwards

" No , its just- why cant you see-" he said clenching his words through his teeth, walking closer to her

" That I'll do anything for you" he said , the tension was thick and with ever step forward that Patrick took , Lily took a step backwards. 

" Stop it Patrick, you're starting to scare me" she said meekly , Patrick shook his head . what the fuck is wrong with her, why cant she understand . Patrick argued with himself in his head.
