Patrick had walked all the way up to the abandon house , he had previously called Lily . As she should , she was relucent to talk back to him .  so instead she let him talk. He had asked her to meet him at the abandon house he once took her . Of course he knew she most likely didn't remember where exactly it was. He gave short directions and waited for her to agree to the idea of them meeting. The line was silent for what felt to patrick too long.

A little mumble of a 'sure' was heard.

"I'll see you soon, beautiful " Patrick spoke , hoping that his sweet words would lure her in some way to actually obey his wishes.  Lily wrecked her brain with thoughts as she hastily walked the path to the abandon house on that hill that views over the town of Derry. She felt weak , she couldn't believe she just caved in and went along with  what patrick said. She was her own person. And yet she followed the mere orders of Patrick Hockstetter. She was fighting with herself , her thoughts being thrown back and forth.

Patrick was a man of little words, But his 'little' words rose and stood for much more. All words seemed to be that way.

Maybe Patrick wanted to apologize. But why do it at the abandon house? Maybe he felt more comfortable there? who knows, all Lily knew was that she was going there. If she had any second thoughts she could just turn around and go back home and into the comfort of her bed . re-watch films all night .

But what about Patrick? he would be felt alone , waiting. Waiting for her to show up and hear him out.

Her walk through the woods seemed torturous and long , She listened as leaves crunch under footfall and how small sticks and  moist soil kicked up from the ground with every dragged step. Her fingernails shredded and tore as continued  to pick at them in a nervous tick .

She looked up from her straight gaze on the ground and realized how haunting but beautiful the woods seemed to radiate.  It was calming realizing how alone she was. Only woodsy birds and animals scattered . Of course her thoughts turned to the dark when she thought about it once again. How truly alone she was in those woods. A hunter could be not far, Watching her from the scope of his hunting rifle . Just watching as a young girl trekked through the woods all alone. Maybe this so called (made up hunter) would do much more then watch her through his scope. Take closer action maybe. . .

STOP , you're just being paranoid . No one is watching you. You're almost there . No worries just breathe .

Lily had no idea how long it had been. Nor had she thought through on keeping track of time . She had finally made to the  dry dirt pathway the led up to the home . She grounded herself more and she started to walked uphill. Her feet digging into the ground to insure she wouldn't slip on her way up the dirt.

She saw a parked truck as she came into closer contact with the house. Patrick's shitty truck was parked not far from the house.

Really? he drove here. Couldn't he just have saved time by picking her up or something. The car ride was be long and daunting with silence no one knew how to deal with . but still, would've be nicer .

How'd he even drive up his car here?

It's a house. Pretty sure the owners once before didn't walk all that way from their home to town.
