Haley's POV

We let a few weeks pass before we set up for the final mission. Things around the house changed pretty fast. When I said 'changed' I meant things changed, A Lot! I mean what more could change after Chris found himself a girlfriend? I'm not even joking.

It was the doctor that we met at the hospital a few weeks ago. How did that happen? That's a mystery

Well we basically caught him with her while me and Kayden were on a date. It's hasn't been long but I can say she's nice. I know Chris is older than me and all that but I take my time getting to know people who wanna be my brothers girlfriend okay! He's been sneaking out to see her for a couple of weeks now.

All of us would go on triple dates now. It was always weird being armed with guns while we're on a date but we are pretty close to being normal. And surprisingly the Sofia was familiar with it by the time we tagged along.

We were all at the cafe just talking. "So how did you guys meet? You and Kayden?" Sofia aske sitting across the table from us.

"We actually met 4 years ago." I said and it made me smile thinking of the first time I met Kayden. He himself laughed.

"I was pretty messed up you know." He was talking like the dad in those classic movies. You know the kind that always starts a conversation at the dinner table with 'you know when we were young' I liked it though. "It was a bomb attack, I lost my sister to it."

"I'm so sorry~" Sofia's eyes softened.

"It's alright. Besides she's probably way happier up there than living here in hiding." I was so proud of the way Kayden just knew that his sister was up there and not in hell or something. I was proud of the fact he had the courage to accept things the way they are.

"And then she walked in with her father." He continued. "He was ready to recruit me almost immediately. Even though I was all bandaged and simply not able to move an inch from the place I was sitting when we met. But the best thing about that day was I couldn't take my mind off her that night. I couldn't even fall asleep." He looked at me smiling.

"You looked very handsome that day Tiger." I said slightly arranging his messy hair with a smile on y face.

"But a few days later I learnt about my sister and it was probably the first time I cried in a while. And that's when I fell in love with the girl who was there for me when I was secretly breaking down."

"Well you two have quite a story to tell your kids." Sofia smiled.

"Oh no no! We ain't revealing everything about our relationship to our kids. Hell no!" Kayden burst out.

He looked into my eyes with a smirk and his eyebrows raised saying 'I know what your thinking' "Let's leave out how 'When' and 'how' we confessed to each other. It'll be fine."

"In our defence.... We were drunk." I burst out laughing.

"Yeah well we'll keep that to ourselves."

"Yeah it's been a damn secret for a long time." Chris joined. "Even I found out when I caught them kissing in the TV room."

"She's good at being unexpected." Kayden said slowly placing his hand on my thigh with his eyes still locked with mine. I scooted closer to him. I don't think anyone noticed.
