Chapter 2

Bad habits

Diego was laying on the ground holding the cub on him. He knew had to return back home before it gets dark.

Diego began to get up but the cub noticed his movements. The cub would push Diego down not wanting him to leave.

Diego spoke, "I need to go home. My parents would worry about me."

The female spoke, "I don't want you to go. I want to be with you."

Diego spoke with bit sadness, "I have to."

The female would only hug Diego's body. Diego felt her soft fur against him. Diego wanted to be with her but he had to go.

The female spoke, "I would join you."

Diego was surprised that a random female would follow him. Diego didn't know what to do. He never brought a female to his home. He wonder what his family would do.

The female looked at Diego with pleading eyes. Diego couldn't help but smile at her.

Diego spoke, "Okay you can join me to my home."

The female was happy to hear what Diego said. Then suddenly Diego felt warm lips on his. The female was kissing him. He couldn't believe was experiencing such a young age.

Diego got up and spoke, "Okay let go to my home."

The female quickly went to next to Diego. Then she leaned her body against Diego's. Diego couldn't help blush. He couldn't believe that he found a girl in seven months in his life.

Diego spoke as he was looking his way back home, "What your name?"

The female responded, "My name is Shira and what yours?"

"My name is Diego."

Shira would purr loudly at him. Shira was happy to be with Diego.

Shira spoke, "I really love you Diego."

Diego looked at Shira and asked, "Why you love me?" As he felt his heart racing.

Shira smiled at Diego responded, "Well you look cool and strong."

That every female saber would want in a male.

Diego asked, "That it? Not anything else?"

Shira replied, "That it."

Diego felt disappointed that Shira only care that he only cool and strong. Diego felt that Shira would choose someone else is better than him.

Diego spoke, "You know some are better than me. So I'm not good enough for you."

Shira felt down at Diego's reaction. Shira knew that Diego misunderstood what she meant.

Shira spoke, "Not just that Diego."

Diego asked a bit worried, "What you mean?"

Shira responded trying to put a smile, "Not only you are cool and strong. I don't know how to say it. I feel somewhat attracted to you."

Diego would only blush by Shira response. Then after a while of walking Diego was finally was able to find his way back home.

It started to get dark and Diego's parents started to worry. Then they found Diego returning back.

His mom was the most worried about him.

Diego's mom spoke, "Where you went Diego? I thought you were gone forever."

Diego spoke, "Mommy is okay. I'm back I just got lost."

Diego's mom worries started to disappear. She noticed that there is a another saber beside Diego. Her mother never saw the saber before.

Diego's mom asked, "Who is this cub Diego?"

Before Diego could respond Shira spoke up, "I'm Diego's mate."

Everyone who was near them they all exclaimed, "WHHHAAAT?!"

Diego is now feeling embarrassed that everyone was looking at him. All the cubs and Diego were confused what mate meant.

One of the cub asked their parents, "What mate mean?"

All the grownups were nervous to respond to the cubs. Not knowing how to respond.

Diego's father spoke up, "Mate is basically you have a companion for your rest of your life." As he was trying to make it simple for the cubs to understand.

The cubs spoke, "Ooohhhhh. Like mommy and daddy."

Diego felt like sweating now understanding what mate is. He us going to spend his rest of his life Shira.

Diego's mom asked Shira, "Do you know what actually mate mean?"

Shira spoke, "Oh is when two sabers started to..."

Then Diego covered Shira's mouth with his paw. Not wanting to know about adult stuff.

Diego spoke to Shira's ear, "Don't even say it. Please. I'm too young." As he was trying to keep his innocence.

Shira stopped talking and looked at Diego smiling. Diego's mom was surprised that Shira know a lot of stuff such a young age.

Diego's mom approached Diego closely and began to sniff his fur. She was completely shocked by the scent which back off without saying anything.

Diego's father approached Diego and sniffed him. Which Diego was confused by their parents actions.

Diego's father spoke to Diego's ear, "Soooo, son it seems that you two gotten close. You smell like her which means she marked you as hers. So tell me what you two did together."

Diego spoke, "I guess she put her lips on mine and began sucking my mouth for minutes. I did the same thing I don't know why?"

Diego's father spoke out loud, "That my son! I can't be more proud for you! I can't wait to brag about you son.You know it me took months to get it from your mother."

Diego's father smacked on Diego's shoulder lightly not hurt him. The others fathers began to understand what he was saying.

The mothers didn't really understand what Diego's father was saying. They know is nothing pleasant.

Diego's father spoke, "I'll talk about it with you tommorow. Go get some sleep with your newlywed."

Diego was confused what newlywed meant. As Shira was blushing badly.

Diego was getting ready to sleep on his spot which was outside of the cave where he can look at the stars. As Diego was comfortable, Shira was getting comfortable too.

Diego was nervous about Shira sleeping with him. As Diego was about to lie down, Shira pushed Diego down. Diego looked at Shira with embarrassment.

Shira spoke seductively, "Hey, I'll be with you all night."

Diego would look away until he felt Shira kissing his neck. Diego felt to enjoy it but moments later he snapped out of it. Shira stopped kissing his neck and giggled.

Shira spoke smirking, "Ah, you seem to like it."

Diego was wanting to die of embarrassment. Everything was new to him.

Shira once again, "Don't worry I just gave you a hickey."

Diego was confused what hickey was.

Shira spoke, "You'll find out tomorrow. Now give me a goodnight kiss."

Diego was more nervous than ever. Diego decided to step up. Diego inched closer to Shira's lips until Shira pressed against his.

Shira and Diego broke the kiss and Shira spoke, "Thanks and now come here."

Shira layed on top of Diego feeling each other warmth. Diego felt a lot of different emotions. It took a while for both of them to fall asleep under the stars.
