Diego and Shira were walking to a large platform where sabers meet. Diego was wanting to meet his friends but forgot he have a mate.

Diego saw the his group chatting. He noticed that several were talking a lot than before like something major happened.

Diego spoke, "Hey guys!"

They all turned their heads to Diego. They noticed a white female saber next to him.

One of the male spoke, "Sup Diego we were talking about you."

Diego asked forgot Shira was next to him, "What y'all talking about me?"

They looked at the Shira and at Diego.

One of female cub spoke, "Well about we heard you have a mate yesterday."

Diego chuckled and spoke, "About that..."

Then Diego remembered Shira was next to him. Diego looked down at the ground embarrassed.

One female spoke hint of jealousy, "Is it true?"

Diego responded nervously, "Y-yeah."

The female cub thought mate meant that Shira is his girlfriend. The female started to think ways how to break them up. As other female cubs were also thinking the same. There was a particular female cub has high standards for herself. If she wanted to have a boyfriend, he must be the most strongest, handsome of all.

She spoke with pride, "If I had to go out with Diego is the worst experience. If I got out with someone, he must the strongest, obedient, and handsome saber. "

Diego spoke, "At least I don't have go out with someone that high standards."

The female cub was about to explode with anger but Shira step in front of Diego ready to challenge her. The cub backed down and went off with her friends. The males were staring at Shira's beauty. Diego noticed his friends reaction, he can't help but feel that he must protect what is his.

Shira noticed that Diego growling at his friends, Shira couldn't help but giggle. Diego heard Shira giggling. Diego stopped growling but feel embarrassed. Then Diego's friends approached him and spoke, "Let's talk."

Diego was took by his friends wondering what they going to talk about. They found a secluded place and then other older sabers joined too.

One of the teens spoke, "Hey kid is it true that young female is your mate?"

Diego responded by nodding in embarrassment. Then everyone was yelling and screaming for Diego.

One of the sabers spoke, "Wow. I can't believe it. Did you guys kissed?"

Diego nodded at the saber and the other saber asked, "How long you two kissed."

Diego responded by feeling the pressure by others, "It was like a couple of minutes."

The teens sabers were shocked to hear his response.

One the sabers spoke, "Bro, you are lucky. I only kissed my girlfriend for a couple of seconds. Plus you have a mate. "

Diego felt too much pressure on him so he decided to walk out of the group. Many sabers were playing around him. Then Shira comes to find him walking.

Shira spoke, "Don't be embarrassed be proud."

Then Shira kissed Diego passionately which took Diego a breath. Diego smiled at Shira. Not knowing he already fallen for her.

Both of them started to walk together around their territory. Shira began to rub Diego's body that can scented from miles away.

Diego started to appreciate Shira's affection. When Diego and Shira were alone in the woods. Shira tackled Diego to the ground.

Diego looked at Shira which Shira giggled.

Shira spoke to his ear seductively, "Come and play with me."

Diego's instincts were telling him to take control. Diego started to resist his instincts. Shira notice his reactions.

Shira spoke, "Don't worry. The moment will come."

Diego started to feel different. Never in his life his instincts were telling him to take control a female. He felt his instincts already matured. Though his mind was like a child.

Shira kissed Diego passionately for minutes. Shira was fond of Diego.

Then Shira heard someone approached them. Shira turns her head growling for interrupting their moment.

It was Diego's father looking for them.

Diego's father spoke smiling, "Sorry for interrupting. I would like have a conversation with your husband."

Shira blushed like they are already family.

Diego asked, "Me?"

Diego's father responded, "Yeah son. Come."

Diego gets up but confused what husband meant. Then Diego was pulled by Shira and kissed him.

Diego followed his father then saw his mother waiting for them.

Diego asked, "What is it?"

Diego's mother spoke, "I can't believe you have a mate so young. Since like you are like a grownup. We are going to give you tips."

Diego's father grabbed Diego's shoulder, "Son I can't be more proud for you. But since you have mate. You must treat her the best like your life depends on it. You must show her affection."

Diego didn't knew it was a lot to take care of a female.

Diego's mother spoke, "Since you have a mate. You must to hunt and fight. Normally sabers started hunting in their teens. Though you are a cub your dad will help you."

Diego's father spoke, "I know is overwhelming but you'll get through it. I'll make sure your mate will be proud of you."

Diego just nodded feeling the responsibilities on him. He knew he will get used to it. Then Shira came at Diego hugging him. Diego hugged her back following his parents advice.
