Chapter 11

Middle of the night

Next couple of days Diego and Shira
enjoying their time together. Shira was on top of Diego french kissing.

Diego spoke, "I love you Shira."

Shira spoke, "Same here."

Then Shira's face turns in a worry one. Diego knew there is something wrong.

Diego asked, "What wrong?"

Shira responded with bit of fear, "I'm scared for you."

Diego asked again, "Why's that?"

Shira hugged Diego's body and responded, "I met someone that I knew."

Diego asked wanting to know what troubling her, "Who?"

Shira responded, "It was a white saber. He changed a lot he was ripped. He used to bully me that I would be his. Now he trying to claim though I have you. I managed to get away. He told me he would kill you brutally if I don't get with him."

Diego was angered that the saber he knew like a friend, now is sworn enemy.

Shira saw his anger and she tried to calm him. Which it did calm him a little.

After a few hours Diego and Shira decided to take a walk together. Diego started to think what to do in the situation.

Diego remembered his father teaching when he was cub

He remembered him saying, "Son some point you be ready to fight because if you back down it would act cowardsness."

By remembering his father's words was ready to fight and be like his father. Like his dad did the same with his mother.

Diego spoke, "Shira don't worry. I'll be there for you."

Shira felt like Diego's will to protect her. Shira leaned her head on Diego's shoulder.

Diego wondered where was the basterd. Out of nowhere Diego saw someone rammed into him a large stone.

The last thing he saw it was a large white saber. Diego ached in pain by crashing into the rock.

Shira yelled his name before taken away. Diego was now unconscious. Suddenly he felt something woke him up.

It was a sharp pain on his body. The crows were about to make him lunch. Diego roared which scared away the crows.

The first thing came to mind was Shira. Diego began to get on his feet feeling pain on his legs.

Diego spoke, "I will not him to take away... Shira!"

Diego began to limp on his feet and begins to sniff Shira's scent. Diego began to follow the scent before is too late.

Diego it took a minute to find Shira. He approach a crowd of sabers. In the center Diego saw Shira beaten to the ground crying.

As the white saber spoke grinning, "You see Shira no matter how strong you are. You can't beat me. Now I'll claim you in front of everybody."

Shira spoke crying, "No... please."

That triggered Diego and rushed in to the white saber. Causing the white saber to get knocked off guard.

Shira saw Diego hurt and seeing him in pain. Diego wasn't going to give up on Shira.

Diego spoke in enraged, "You dare to hurt Shira! Now! I'm going to make you pay!"

Shira saw the second time see Diego with killing intent. Diego was now control by his instincts.

The crowd began to watch the show down. The white saber looked at Diego with killing intent. Diego wasn't going to hold back.

The saber spoke, "Once I killing you. I'll mate Shira in front of you in your dying breath."

They both began to circle Diego began to snarl at the white saber. Once one full circle. They both pounce on each other.

At first the saber the advantage because to his strength. Diego knew his father stories about winning not brute strength but endurance.

Diego get lashed in face couple of times and knocked to the ground. Saber chuckled but shocked to see Diego getting up with blood.

Diego charged at the saber and slashed at his right eye. The saber back off in pain. The saber was angered and charged at Diego. Diego moved out of the way.

The saber was relentless but continued to attack Diego. Diego fought back. As Shira watched the fight seeing blood dripping from their bodies.

Diego was feeling pain wanting to give up but continued for sake for Shira. Their fight last to an hour. They were breathing heavily.

Many females were horrified to see the state of Diego. Diego was bleeding every part of his body. Can see the flesh of each clawed.

Shira wanted to tell Diego to give up but Diego continued didn't cared about himself.

Then Diego found a opportunity to beat the white saber. Diego launch at the saber and caught its throat on it mouth.

Diego began to clench on it throat. The white saber noticed he in a bad position. Diego rammed the saber into a tree several times.

The white started to claw Diego's shoulders. Diego was so focused in killing the saber in it jaws that he didn't felt any pain.

The white saber felt blood dripping out it throat. He knew was going to die. The white saber started to lose air to breathe. As Diego continued holding the saber's throat.

Many females including Shira were now scared to see a saber killing another saber.

Out of nowhere Diego was jumped by other sabers. Diego didn't want to give mercy to the white saber. Then more sabers joined in. Diego was dealing with ten sabers.

Many of sabers were telling Diego to stop. Diego didn't listen seeing the white saber in a very weak state. Then Diego jumped over the group but landed on Shira.

Diego and Shira's eyes met. Diego saw Shira scared in tears. Diego's senses began to return. But then Diego was tackled by the white saber.

Diego kick off the white saber and charge at him. The sabers noticed that both of them won't stop until one of them is dead. So they decided to jump on both sabers.

Diego evaded their assault and tackled the white saber. Diego began to claw the saber's face.

The white saber was getting weak that he couldn't move no more. Diego saw that he won he roared in victory.

Many sabers were shaking to see white saber dead. Then Diego started returning his senses and see the white saber barely alive on a last string of air.

Diego backed off shaking to see he was going to kill a saber. Diego looked at his paws seeing stains of blood.

The white saber spoke weakly, "No... please... don't..... kill... me."

Diego's body was wobbling of so much pain. Diego was now scared to see his paws getting dirty of blood.

Diego was in state of shock. Diego felt every beating of his heart pounding. Then Shira hugged Diego tightly.

Diego saw Shira in fear.

Diego spoke shakily, "What I have done? I almost killed him. I'm a monster."

Then Shira spoke to Diego's ear, "It's okay. You paws are still clean. You didn't kill him."

Diego began to feel relief in his soul. Diego saw the white saber was dragged away to heal his wounds. The white would no longer be able to fight anymore.

Diego collapse to the ground feeling weak. Shira began to lick Diego's wounds. Diego felt some relief of pain.

After couple of hours Diego was feeling different kind of emotions. Scared, happy, sad, and anger. Diego knew it was worth saving Shira. He wouldn't let his mate go without a fight.
