Chapter 17

Last summer

A year has passed Diego and Shira were together happy. Shira was hoping to have a kids but never thought that her wish would come true.

Diego was sleeping with Shira holding her. Shira would smile to be hold by Diego.

Diego was happy to have Shira in his life he never thought having kids because it never crossed his mind. But there would be a surprise for him.

Shira turns around to Diego's body. Shira kissed Diego passionately on his lips. Diego woke up by her kiss. Which Diego kissed her back.

Shira blushed to be treated like a queen. Suddenly her mood changed into sad one.

Diego was shocked to see her mood change and began apologize, "I'm sorry if I hurt you."

Shira spoke as she was regaining her mood back, "No you didn't hurt me. I was becoming sad for no reason like this is our last kiss."

Diego hugged Shira tightly which Shira accepted but felt their stomach touching each other. Diego suddenly felt a sense that there is something out of place. Diego placed his paw on Shira's stomach and began to rub it gently.

Shira was giggling thinking that Diego was trying he placed at wrong spot. Diego didn't knew what he was doing but felt natural to him. It was Diego's father instincts that was in control. Diego didn't know what was going on but felt to pay more attention to his mate. Diego was more protective and caring for Shira.

Shira was about to go out with Diego to watch him hunt, but Diego's instincts took over.

Diego spoke with worryingly, "Shira you don't need to join me. Stay here and wait I don't want you to be hurt."

Shira was about to complain but her mother's instincts told her to stay. That Diego was worried about her.

Shira stayed in the cave and before Diego left he kissed Shira and placed his paw on Shira's stomach rubbing gently.

Diego spoke softly, "I'll be back."

Diego left the cave and went out hunting. After Diego left Diego came to reality what he was doing. Diego started to think how it was possible to order to stay in the cave but Shira didn't complain. Also rubbing her stomach.

Shira was also back to reality what she doing. Shira would always join Diego. Shira didn't understand why she was staying in the cave because she would be bored. Also the point Diego rubbing her stomach.

The couple didn't understand why they were acting different but knew to trust their instincts.

After two months later Diego noticed Shira was changing mood lately. Also he noticed that Shira's stomach was bigger than normal.

Diego asked Shira, "I wonder why your stomach is getting bigger. Aren't you getting fat or something."

Shira began to cry of Diego's question but Diego immediately started to apologize.

Diego spoke, "I'm sorry Shira. I'm just concerned for you."

Shira spoke, "Is okay is my fault, lately I haven't going out much. I'm getting lazy and tired if I tried to walk far. Every now and then I was getting hungry."

Diego's father instincts kicked in and approached Shira and kissed her and placed his paw on her stomach rubbing gently.

Diego spoke, "Is okay your my mate. I'll love you no matter what."

Shira giggled as her mother instincts kicked in. Shira pulled Diego to lay down on next to her. Shira pulled close to Diego's body. Diego felt Shira's stomach against his as he continued to rub her stomach.

After a few months has passed Shira's stomach was large. Shira couldn't really understand why she was like this. Sometimes she would panic that there something wrong with her.

Diego would always tell her everything is okay. Diego knew he has to find out what is going on and decided to look for his mother.

Diego's mother entered the cave and saw Shira's stomach was large. She immediately knew the answer.

Diego's mother spoke to the couple with joy, "I just know the answer right away."

Diego and Shira were paying attention wanting to know.

Diego's mother spoke with happiness, "Your pregnant Shira which means we are going to become grandparents."

Diego was the most shocked that Shira was pregnant all this time. He didn't had plans to have a family yet. No wonder his instincts were in control. Shira was happy to have a cub.

Shira jumped on Diego with joy. Diego caught Shira so couldn't get herself hurt.

Shira spoke, "We're having a cub Diego."

For Diego it took a moment to process. Diego felt happy to have a cub. Then Diego's mother started to walk off to tell news to her mate.

When night came Diego was rubbing Shira's stomach. Then Shira decided to be on top of Diego. Shira gently lay down on Diego.

Diego noticed Shira has gotten heavier. Diego gently holds Shira's stomach on him. Diego couldn't help but feel his unborn cub on him. Diego began to rub Shira's stomach.

Suddenly he felt a sudden kick. Diego was happy to see his cub is alive and well.

Diego spoke, "Shira it moved."

Shira smiled at Diego and nodded and spoke, "Yeah I also felt it. I guess is happy to be with it daddy."

Shira kissed Diego passionately. Diego was holding her to make sure the cub and her are comfortable.

Diego was happy to become a dad he'll tell stories to his little one. He hope his cub would be happy saber.
