Drowned

A few weeks later Shira was laying on top Diego as he was rubbing her stomach. Shira didn't want this moment to end.

Diego spoke, "I wonder if our cub would be like you or me or maybe both."

Shira smiled at Diego with joy. Shira was hoping that their cub would be both.

Shira spoke, "Let's go for a walk."

"Are you sure? Your carrying my cub. I don't want you or our cub he hurt." Diego asked with concern.

Shira began to beg, "Please Diego. I haven't walked in days. Please I haven't looked at the nature."

Diego spoke with a sigh, "Okay only for a twenty minute walk. Because you can't handle the weight of our son."

Shira nodded and kissed him. Shira began to get up slowly due the heaviness of her cub. Diego quickly helped her to get up. Diego was next to Shira's side. Shira placed her weight on Diego as support.

Diego didn't mind as Shira was comfortable walking. Both of them were out walking and many sabers were happy for the couple that they are having a cub. Some males were jealous wishing it was them but couldn't say anything because they try make a move on her. Diego would immediately hurt them.

Shira was happy to be beside Diego. Diego could feel his unborn cub kicking like happy to be outside.

As their they came across a white saber couple. Shira immediately recognized them but didn't said anything. Shira could feel fear of her and her cub.

Diego immediately noticed his mate was scared and decided to comfort her. The white saber couple stopped in front of them.

The male white spoke, "Ah finally is you been a long time."

Shira looks away and looks at Diego for comfort. Diego noticed Shira was now desperate.

Diego asked, "Who are you sir?"

"The white male saber replied, "I'm Shira's father."

Diego was shocked to see Shira's parents. Diego had several questions for them but Shira was now her body against Diego's for comfort. Diego knew is not nothing good with Shira and her parents.

Shira's father spoke with anger, "I see you are pregnant. Who was the basterd to get you pregnant?"

Shira was wanting to run away but her cub concerns her the most. It was time to see the reality.

Diego spoke trying to be calm, "Sir I suggest to watch your tone with your daughter."

"So what?! This is none your business! This is family matters!" As Shira's father shouted at Diego.

Diego spoke trying his anger not to explode, "What Shira's concerns is also mine."

"So?! Are you the boyfriend?!" As Shira's spoke with anger.

Shira's father spoke furious, "Shira look at your father while I'm speaking! I'll make you obey or you want me to punch your stomach while carrying the cub such abomination?!"

Shira could only get her body towards Diego for protection. Shira's father was about to make to hit Shira's stomach. Diego quickly became protective of Shira.

Diego spoke angrily, "Lay a paw on her you'll pay with your very own life!"

Shira's father stopped seeing the orange saber ready to spill blood on his paws. Shira's father felt shivers on his spine. Diego was ready to teach him a lesson.

Shira's father spoke agitated, "You know  Shira ran away because of an arrangement marriage. Shira never like the idea being forced. Then someone decided to interfere and broke off the marriage.

Now Shira being pregnant our law says if it a different saber's cub other than the fiancee. The cub must die the day when it's born and be fed the wild animals. Or the saber who got her pregnant will be tortured to death."

Diego couldn't imagine how the white saber laws were so cruel. He wouldn't let his unborn cub die. Diego was willing kill if anyone harm her or his cub.

Shira's father asked, "Who is the father?!"

Shira was now wanting to cry to see the cruelty of her father.

Diego spoke, "I'm the father. I won't let anyone hurt her or my cub!"

Shira's father looked at with death glare and spoke, "So are you willing to give your life for you cub?"

"Who says I'm going to die or my cub?!"

Then out of nowhere large number of white sabers came ready to kill Diego or pin Shira. Diego roared with anger at the pack.

Before the white sabers could attack. A large number of of orange sabers joined beside Diego ready to fight.

Diego spoke with anger, "Try attacking but face war!

The orange sabers would take it an act of war one of them dies by a white saber. The white sabers back down seeing they were outnumbered and were far from home.

Diego spoke, "Leave or die!"

The white sabers left not wanting to face war because the orange sabers had very large population but the white saber population was small. It would be twenty to one.

Shira was glad to see Diego was ready to fight also others sabers joined to help the couple despite being a white saber. The orange sabers had a law if anyone lives in peace would be protected by the sabers. While for the white sabers they would kill anyone who lives in their territory.

Diego was hugging Shira with comfort. Shira happy to meet Diego to have her freedom and joy. Now Shira and the cub weren't no longer in danger. Diego promised himself to protect Shira for life.
