Closer

After a week Diego and Shira mated. Shira was already in exhaustion laying in inside of the cave. As Diego was laying next to her mate. They were sleeping together holding each other. 

Shira was the first to wake up hearing the birds chirping. Shira smiled at Diego was sleeping calmly. Shira kissed Diego's lips which cause Diego wake up. Diego opened his eyes and saw Shira looking at him.

Shira spoke, "Good morning. You slept like a cub."

"Yeah you were the first one to fall asleep."

They both shared a passionate kiss and began to look outside seeing the sunrise. They both began walk out of the cave returning back home. Diego and Shira was flirting with each other. Until they returned back home they saw Diego's parents were looking at them with a certain look.

Diego's father began to question, "Where you two been? You were gone for a entire week. There should be a good reason why."

Diego's mother spoke, "Honey, leave them alone they are adults they aren't cubs anymore. To be honest I'm curious why."

Diego and Shira began to feel nervous to answer them.

Diego spoke, "Well. Shira and I were out hunting together. I mean is spring. Also we were touring around looking at the nature."

Diego's parents nodded and didn't ask them no more.

"Hey son let talk about your sweet tour in private."

Diego was more nervous than ever by being question by his father because he knew his dad would ask him a direct question.

Diego followed his dad to a secluded area where they can talk alone.

"Why you wanted to talk alone with me?" Diego asked nervously.

Diego's father looked at his son with a grin and responded, "I know what you told us was a lie. I know the true reason why you two were gone for a week."

Diego was now panicking how his dad knew it was a lie also know the reason.

"To be honest the first two days you were gone. Your mother and I wondered why you two were gone. We thought it was the time of breeding season. It happens when the weather is calm, flowers blooming giving off sweet scent, the breeze of the wind calmly brushing your fur."

Diego was now scared to hear his father say every detail of the breeding season.

Diego's father continue to speak, "Your girl start to seduce you which your instincts took over and just like that." 

Diego sigh in relief that his dad didn't said over the details. 

"Oh yeah. I accidentally stumbled to a cave which I heard a couple breeding but then I heard Shira's voice and yours."

Diego started to exclaim, "You hear what?!"

"I couldn't believe you and Shira were so into it. Don't worry about I didn't told anyone but your mom." Diego's father replied.

Diego spoke, "If you did I would ended killing you."

Diego's father spoke, "There some point when saber stumble to a couple breeding and began to tell everyone. So later on he was killed by the male for telling. You know is basically sacred when is comes you and your mate." 

Diego spoke again, "Lucky you. You didn't had go the same way I did."

"No son mine was the worst that you can imagine. My parents stumbled to our cave and saw us. My mother passed out and my dad began smile at me and took out my mom of the cave. You couldn't believe how your mother was embarrassed," Diego's father spoke looking at the sky.

Diego couldn't help but imagine how his father went through. 

Diego's father spoke, "So when my grandkids are coming?"

Diego responded, "Just shut up dad. To be honest I haven't met my grandparents."

"Oh that you'll meet them in couple of days. They live bit far from the pack. The reason they didn't met you when you were younger, your grandma was taking care your grandpa because he was sick. It took several years to recover. You have a strong smell on you. I suggest to go the woods and roll over the dirt." Diego's father spoke.

Diego left off running into the woods to take off the smell. After getting rid of the smell he began to look for Shira. Diego was happy to meet his grandparents and show his mate to them.
