TW- Anxiety attacks, storms
Also bad dramatization of mental illness... Cut me some slack, I was 13 and liked to think I was edgy.

There was a storm coming! Cassy peered out her window of the Mind Palace, watching the storm clouds approach. They were dark and sinister, already cracking with lightning.
A boom of thunder rang out, the clouds coming closer and closer all the while. Cassy gave a little squeal of excitement, watching in fascination as the rain began to fall.
She loved storms! They made her heart pound and her adrenaline pump through her veins! Even though Cassy was Thomas's compassionate side, she could be a little wild.
Roman said she was an adrenaline junkie, someone who's natural high came from immersing herself in possibly dangerous situations. She wasn't going to disagree with the creative side. She loved all sorts of wacky things that would give normal people heart attacks! Well, then again, Compassion wasn't all that normal!
Logan said that if she wears her heart and her adrenal glands out too fast, she could have a heart attack. She wasn't all that worried though. A side can't die unless the host dies, and Thomas didn't look like he was going to die any time soon!
There was another clap of thunder and Cassy backed away from her window, flopping down on her light pink bed. She closed her eyes as the rain began to come down in sheets.
The wind began to blow, settling the house in its foundations. The walls and floor shook as another thunder-clap sounded, right over her head!
She could have fallen asleep like this! Except, that is, for the pounding of her heart in her ears and the sudden rush of adrenaline. She grinned and jumped up. She just couldn't sit still!
She bounced over to her bedroom mirror and ran her hand through her long hair, brushing her brunette bangs away from her face. She clipped them back with a pink clip, then decided she liked 'em better as they had been. Taking the clip out, she jumped away from her mirror, leaping and dancing all around her room.
Another crack of thunder, followed immediately by a sudden flash of lightning. It was so loud that the numerous cute pictures of baby animals along Cassy's wall shuddered! She squealed and jumped onto her bed again, feeling the reverberations throughout the Mind Palace.
There was a tentative knock on her door and Cassy spun to face it, her eyes bright and an insane grin plastered on her face. It was probably Patton coming to check on his kiddo.
"Come in!" She called. Her assumption had been correct!
Her door creaked open and Patton poked his head in, "Hey Kiddo!" He said.
"Hey-a Pat!"
"Just checking on ya!" He explained. "Do ya need anything, sweetheart?"
"Nope! I am just fine," she said, "This is SO exciting!" At that last part, she squealed, bouncing up and down on her heels.
Patton gave a small chuckle. "For some reason, I knew you would be enjoying this!"
She nodded, her grin growing. "Oh yeah! This is amazing!"
"Alright, Kiddo! Well, I'm going to go check in on everyone else. Hope ya have fun!" Patton said. His head disappeared from her doorway and the door closed behind him.
Cassy flopped down on her bed again, this time sitting cross-legged and facing the window. The clouds were getting darker as the full brunt of the storm drew closer. They were almost black now!
She threw herself onto her stomach, holding her chin in her hands. The storm held a certain dangerous beauty about it that captivated her. Lightning, while it was breathtakingly beautiful, had the potential of striking something and leaving nothing but flame and ash. Rain, though it gave the Earth a way to heal its barren scars, could flood a city! This kind of dangerous beauty made Cassy not want to look away.
