I'd like to apologize, first off. I haven't been active since last October and, to be honest, I don't have a valid excuse for it. All I can say is that I was so incredibly burned out that it made it hard to perform basic tasks. Not to mention college, which is a whole other crap fest.
Reading and writing have always been a sort of escape for me. It provided me with whole new worlds to explore, characters who understood me in times when I felt so desperately alone, and a way out of reality. And let's be honest here, no one really likes reality.

No, it's quite the opposite!
Recently, I have been getting back into some of my oldest fandoms. Percy Jackson, Sanders Sides, Harry Potter... Things I've written stories for and then slowly drifted away from.
It reminds me of this quote I saw on Twitter. " I don't lose hyperfixations, they just go dormant until I hear something about them and they awaken like some kind of sleeper agent."
SO, HERE'S THE ANNOUNCEMENT.
I have decided that I am going to go back through this book and start rewriting some of my oldest works. For some, the entire premise will change. For others, I'll simply switch a few characters' roles here and there. Sometimes it'll be a combination of both!
One thing I will focus on is keeping my works a bit closer to canon! This means I won't be erasing the character's sexualities or genders simply because I was dealing with some insane deep-seated homophobia and/or transphobia when they were first written.
My works for Nico di Angelo, all of Sanders Sides, a few others that haven't ever seen the light of day (surprise, there's gonna be new stories) will hopefully be rewritten sometime within the next few months.
I will be leaving the original works up, but the new rewrites will (hopefully) be better than the OGs. Honestly, looking back on them makes me cringe all shades of horrible... but that means that I've improved, so it's not all terrible!
