CHAPTER TWO

Sy Residence

"I have to go, Ma..." Lowell said to his mom when he reaches the dining room.

"You will not eat breakfast?" His mom asked.

"I'll be late for the meeting, Ma..." He told and kisses his mom to the cheek. "bye..." then leaved.

>> While driving going to office...

"What a weird dream?" He talked to himself.

"I entered in a contract marriage?" He laughed as he remembered his dream. "NO WAY!!!"

"But why I didn't able to see her face?" he keep talking to himself. Is she beautiful for real? He sighed.

At the office...

"Goodmorning!" He greeted as he arrived the office and gets straight to the conference room. "I'm not yet late, right?" he asked his colleague named Michael.

"Almost going to be late," Michael said then laughed. "Boss, already asked you,"

"Really?" Lowell shrugged.

"It's not normal that you get late," His friend commented. "Is something happened?"

Lowell a bit laughed. "Nothing happen, bro!" he answered. I just had a weird dream that caused me to be late. I've been staring the ceiling for almost an hour, thinking about that dream and keep recalling her face. But her face never appeared to his head.

And then the meeting starts...

"Okay, as per my meeting last week in Singapore. I'm glad to announce that our company was able to closed a deal to one of the biggest medical device company in South East Asia, the Somers Medical Device, Inc.." Their boss started. "

"This said company has their local branch here in Philippines and we were assigned to coordinate with the local branch regarding the IT services we could provide to them."

"Wow! That's great!" One of the employees said.

"And since this is a big project to us," the boss said again. "I want you Lowell and Michael to take charge on this."

"US?" Lowell and Michael both said, frowning.

"Yes," the boss muttered.

"Isn't too big for a new project?" Michael asked, feeling unsure.

"I trusted you both, that's why I choose the two of you." The boss explained.

One day after the meeting....

"Lowell, I already set-up a meeting with Somers and confirmed to meet us on Friday at 3pm." Michael said, looking at Lowell's cubicle with happy smile on his face.

"Alright, that's good!" Lowell said without looking. He's busy answering important emails.

"And guess what?" Michael uttered again with a naughty tone.

Lowell stopped from typing an email and turned to his friend. He frowned. "What's with that naughty face?" he asked curious.

"I learned that the IT in-charge for Somers Philippines is a woman." Michael told.

"And so?" Lowell cold uttered. "Don't tell me, you're interested to meet Somers IT in-charge? You're curious?"

"Ah-huh!" Michael nodded, keeping his naughty smile.

Lowell shrugged. "Bro, she might be a married woman or an old woman,"

"We will know that on Friday!" Michael added. "Will you go with me?"
