CHAPTER THREE
Lowell's POV
"Why it happened to be you the IT specialist officially assigned to do the regular visit to Somers?" Michael asked while having a coffee break with Lowell.
Lowell laughed. "We made an agreement," he told. "Since I am the one who made the appearance to Somers, you will take charge with Woo Sam."
Argh! Michael sighed. "There's no chance for us to switch?" he mischievously asked.
Lowell looked at him seriously, took a sip of his coffee and answered. "NO."
"That's so mean, bro!" his friend complained. "You mean it should only be you to have eyes to Ms. Dela Vera?" he faked disappointed.
Lowell blew out a sighed in disbelief.
"Ms. Dela Vera just called minutes ago and looking for you," Michael blurted out.
"She just called?" Lowell abruptly asked. His heart start to beat fast by just hearing her name.
Michael nodded.
"And you didn't tell me?" Lowell added in disbelief. "Why did she call?"
"It's because I already assist her concern over the phone," Michael told sarcastically. "She was just asking how to disable windows firewall,"
Lowell was supposed to feel a sort of relief, only to hear his friend made a comment.
"She really has a beautiful voice," his friend commented. "Is she beautiful?"
"Let's get back to work," Lowel said instead, stood up and walked to the elevator.
"Hey!" Michael called. "Tell me, is she beautiful?"
"What if not the beautiful you were exactly thinking?" Lowel answered in a question. "Voice over the phone can deceive people sometimes, you know..." he latter added.
" You mean? She's not?" Michael blurted out.
Lowell laughed.
"Oh my!" Michael sounded disappointed.
Why I have a feeling of not wanting Michael to meet her? Lowell thought at the back of his mind. It's been two months already since that day I met her. But until now, I'm still thinking, where exactly I met her?
In a couple of times, we seen each other during his visit to their office, Catrin is so civil and professional, very business mannered when dealing to him. There's no even any hint that she wanted to open the topic about how they met.
As he was busy sorting out things to his mind a sudden call surprises him. It's Andrew. His cousin.
"What's with the sudden call?" he asked, and packing his things to go home.
"At last, I'm able to catch you up," Andrew muttered on the other line.
Lowell laughed.
"Anyway, I just call to remind you about the get together set-up by James this Saturday." His cousin said.
"Is it this coming Saturday already?" Lowell asked and checked his calendar. "I almost forgot!"
"As per James, almost all of our classmates confirmed to attend the get together, so he's expecting us to be there..." Andrew added.
"Got it," Lowell uttered. "Anyway, I'm already on a leave tomorrow and besides I already confirmed to James. I will be there." he assured.
"Good then,"
