CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

It was already 7 o'clock in the morning as the sunshine slits into their room. Lowell was sleeping sweetly with arms around her, his face on lying on her neck. His breath bringing heat into her senses even it was just early in the morning.

She sighed.

She softly moves out his arms around and gently moving out on the bed and went to take a shower.

"I know I should tell him..." she thought as she lets the water runs into her body. Last night was another wonderful moment. Though, there are bad things happened. Despite of, she will never regret giving up herself to him over and over. "If I can only tell you how much I love you, Lowell..." she told to herself. What's stopping me from telling him? She can't find the answer.

After taking shower, she decided to stroll around alone since Lowell still sleeping. He will surely call her once he wakes up.

She warmly embraces the cold breeze as she walking near the shore. She can't help but remembered all the things happened in the past. Her highschool life where she met Lowell...her first love. How it was painful for her to find out that he will never like her? That Lowell never looks at her. She always dreams of him to notice her but he didn't. After highschool, she focuses herself in her studies. She started improving herself. She learned how to wear make-ups, she learned to pick her dresses nicely. She develops her self-esteem. And years later, she successfully made it. She has her career with good finances. She can travel anywhere she want. She can buy clothes as many as she can. And when she was almost there...almost there to stop holding, hoping that love really not meant for her, Lowell came back unexpectedly.

Subconsciously, he changes everything. He befriended her and even became his fake girlfriend which ended them marrying each other. That day...she gave herself to him, she knows everything is real. Her feelings, emotions and love.

And Paolo? She mistakenly thought...she had loved him. Maybe, yes, but not as the same love she have for Lowell. Because, ten, eleven years back, her love only belongs to one person...only for Lowell. My.Only.Love.

"Hey, Catrin!" James called as he saw her walking alone near the beach. "We will go island hopping, come on join us!" he waves his hand.

"No, thanks!" she shouted back with smile.

"Penelope!" Lowell shouted, running fast.

"Cousin," Andrew spoke as his cousin arrived.

"Guys, did you see Catrin?" Lowell blurted out.

The two both shook their heads.

"Nope!" Penelope told. "I haven't seen her yet..."

Lowell roughly combs his hair. "Where will she go?" he muttered. When he woke up, his wife is no longer beside him. He saw a small note on the side table, telling him that she will just take a walk near the beach. He tried calling her for many times but she's not answering it. And he started to worry.

"What do you mean?" Penelope asked, stop from eating her breakfast. She took a sip of water.

"I saw her note and she said...she will just walk near the beach. I've been calling her many times but she didn't answer." Lowell told, worried.

"Where will she go?" Andrew stood up.

"That's exactly my question!" Lowell growled.

"Guys, relax!" Penelope told, wiping out her mouth and stood beside them. "Let's go check our other classmates if they saw her."
