Shinimari brought me to the training room underground. I gravitated toward the elemental practice room as usual. And of course, there was one of the self-obsessed, overly muscular jokes in there already.

He walked over to me, sweat rolling down his body. "What are you doing in here? This room is mine."

"I don't remember you buying it," I retorted.

"Well get out of here before I throw you out."

"I think if I want to stay and practice I can."

"Not if I don't want you here." The boy closed his fist and a large rock lifted out of the ground. Flipping unnecessarily, he kicked it towards me. An orb of water materialized in my hand, and I swung my palm towards the rock.

The orb extended into a blade, and sliced the rock into two perfect hemispheres. After my view was clear, I could see the boy running towards me, preparing to attack me with his stone encased forearm. I sidestepped his jab, and kicked his back forcing him forward faster than he had wanted.

He encased another hand in rock, and grabbed at me. I once again easily dodged his attack. Finally, he stood there looking at his bare hands. I had sliced the rock off of them in my dodging of his attacks. I took that moment to use my best power. Ice.

The liquid blade I held returned to its orb form, getting larger as I drained the moisture out of the air and added it to my gathered water. The orb fired at him, instantly exploding and pushing him against the wall behind him. All the water, as well as the sweat on his body, froze as he came into contact with the wall, effectively trapping him against it.

Shinimari came in a few minutes later. "Next time, try not to give the kid hypothermia."

He jabbed at the center of the ice, shattering it without hurting the shivering, blue boy. He part-carried, part-dragged him to the infirmary. In all honesty, my brother was right. Getting to hurt someone somehow did alleviate my anger.

But that didn't mean my mother was forgiven.
