Aisu took his true form as we prepared to fight them. His body grew and his fur vanished as whitish blue scales took their place. His head elongated along with his neck, and his claws grew to the length of swords. His tail extended, becoming reptilian as well. His fangs became the size of swords, and his claws the length of spears. Finally, giant bat-like wings burst out of his back. Aisu, now three stories tall and the length of two school buses, stretched out his wings and roared. This was Aisu in all his glory. In his true form as a dragon.

He barreled out of the room, taking three of the beasts with him out into the open space below us in the courtyard. Now it was my job to deal with the remaining three. The air around my hands chilled until you could see it, and I positioned them parallel from each other. A ray of blue light appeared between them. When I grabbed it, a wave of white came from each hand and turned all light it touched into white metal. Finally, the end farthest from my right hand and closest to my shoulder glowed especially bright. A blast of energy came out of it, but curved and stopped soon. The energy faded into the center of the newfound blade.

Unlike the ice chain I'd made before, my Chryo-Scythe was made of condensed energy instead of ice itself, so it carried my abilities, the way Jaxon's Psy-Blade did. The first beast ran at me at a monstrous speed. Instead of moving at my top speed, I let him accelerate towards me. The moment he was within range, I dashed towards him and swung my blade. My momentum carried me a few feet way, but he stopped on the spot. The next moment, he was a block of ice, but the effect of my slash took hold and he was sliced in half. Cracks covered his remains, shattering him into pieces.

The next too ran after me, but a single swipe of my blade sentenced them to the same fate. I began walking over to Kira, but her eyes showed that something was behind me. As I turned, I saw the shards rising into the air. Each exploded the same way the pendant did, leaving half a dozen each.

Aisu, I could really use some help right now. I spoke to him through our telepathic connection. I heard him roar in response below me. However, I saw he was in the same situation when I glanced down.

We have to do the flame thing. I psychically conveyed my approval. I focused, allowing usually pent up energy to flow out. My eyes and the blade on my scythe burned with a blue fire, and I slightly floated off of the ground. I heard my own voice deepen.

"I'm done toying with you." I slammed the end of my scythe into the ground, cracking it. My eyes and the blade both darkened into pitch black, due to me leaving my own body. Instead of having a physical form, I was now an aura of blue flame. At about 7 feet tall, I towered over the huge crowd of beasts. I was now pure ice energy, with a cloak over myself. It hooded all of my upper body, as well as my face. It came full circle and closed around my waist, and covered where my legs would be and extended to the floor.

I raised one burning appendage, which I had shaped into an arm. I opened my right hand, and a flame materialized there. It extended into a flaming scythe, much bigger than the one my physical body (which I saw from outside of it) carried. I spoke a single word.

"Begone." I swung my scythe, and it grew huge enough to slice through the entire crowd, leaving nothing remaining but cold fire, which burned into ice instead of ash.

I then resumed a slight connection to my physical body, enough to move it, but my IceFire form remained dominant. I dived over the edge, rocketing towards my dragon, who was seconds away from being overwhelmed. Aisu then began to emanate his power as well. His entire body ignited, and my physical body fell into it, as well as my own aura.

Our minds merged, and the flames swirled into a vortex. Out of it, an even larger dragon emerged. The portion of its wings that weren't bone were made of blue flame, and the end of its tail, his eyes, and two rows of spines along his back burned blue. But it wasn't just a dragon. It was Aisu and I. Merged. And a single blast of ice fire from our mouth instantly purged the courtyard of the monsters.

Now I just needed to check on my girlfriend.
