Last few weeks Thandruill and Y/N have been arguing about her having more freedom, and choosing who she wants to marry. But today's fight is bad, all the elves are worried.
Y/N paces the throne room as they fight again, she looks at her father and says ( I'm not an elfling anymore Ada, I have grown up. But if you can't see that then maybe I should leave), he watches her leave the throne room with tears in his eyes. She runs to her chambers and starts packing her things, she gets her weapons and runs to the stables. She packs her horse and walks him out of the stables. She looks around Mirkwood and gets on her horse, she hopes her father will come but he doesn't. She sighs and rides out of Mirkwood, Thandruill watches as his daughter leaves because of him.
2 weeks later Y/N is in a village near Lorien and is happy, she works in a bakery and is enjoying the work. She has made friends and met someone she likes, one day a woman comes into the bakery and says there's elven guards looking for the lost princess outside. Y/N looks shocked and asks ( where are they from), the woman says Mirkwood. Y/N runs into the back and starts packing, her boss comes in and knows what's happening. He gives her some gold and helps her run, she rides out of the village and cries as she couldn't say goodbye.
It's been 2 months now and Y/N is in Rivendell, she helps in the library and sometimes in the kitchens. Lord Elrond knows who she is but let's her be free, Y/N and Elrond have gotten closer in the last few weeks. She is sitting in the library reading a healers book when Elrond walks in, he sees her curled up reading and smiles. He walks to her and says ( hope I'm not disturbing you), she smiles and pats the seat next to her. He sits and holds her hand and says ( I had a letter from your father, he wants to come here), Y/N sighs and says ( if he sees me he will take me home, and I won't see you again). Elrond holds her tight and says ( i won't let that happen, as I have fallen for you), she looks at him and kisses him softly and says ( I feel the same way).
2 weeks later while Y/N is on the training field Thandruill arrives, Lord Elrond greets him with a smile. Thandruill looks around and says ( where is my daughter), Elrond nods and says ( follow me) they walk to the training field and see Y/N fighting with 2 guards. They watch her as she wins against them, the other guards cheer as she turns round and sees her father watching.
Y/N is standing on the balcony looking over Rivendell when Thandruill walks towards her, she says ( you found me father). He sighs and says ( I regret the argument we had that made you leave, I sent guards after you but they lost you). She smiles and says ( they almost found me in a village near Lorien, but I had help to run), she sits down and pats the seat next to her he sits down. She says ( I came to Rivendell hurt as orcs attacked me, and Lord Elrond took me in) she smiles and says ( he is a very kind elf father, I really like him). Thandruill looks at her and says ( you have fallen for him star light), she nods and says ( he says he has fallen for me too Ada). He smiles at her and says ( I am happy for you, and I miss you greatly), she hugs him and says ( I miss you too Ada).
2 weeks have past and Thandruill has allowed Y/N to court Elrond, he has never seen her this happy. The day before he leaves for Mirkwood Y/N shows him Rivendell, he smiles and says ( you promise to visit soon) she nods and says ( i will be home in a few weeks Ada). He smiles and hugs her while looking at a waterfall, she says ( I love you Ada).
