The next morning the maids help Y/N get her armour and weapons on, her father watches then sends the maids away. He helps straighten the armour and says( you will ride with me, and stay with me), she smiles and nods and says ( I love you Ada) he hugs her and says ( i love you too star light).
Thandruill gets on his Elk then helps Y/N get on behind him, they ride to the gates of the mountain and Y/N holds her Ada tight. She listens to what is said but keeps looking out for trouble, she hears the dwarf say war and she feels Thandruill tense up. Then she hears marching and looks around and says (Ada turn around), Thandruill looks and sees more dwarfs. The army turns to face the dwarfs as Thandruill rides to face them as well, he says to Y/N ( don't worry I'm here), she nods and listens to the insults the dwarfs says to Thandruill. She yells ( at least my father can ride a real animal and not someone's dinner) Thandruill and the army laugh. The dwarf then says ( he brought a she-elf with him, this is going to be fun), the remark gets Thandruill angry.
Then they hear a noise and see the orcs coming towards them, the dwarfs prepare to fight the orcs as Gandalf begs Thandruill to help. The elves jump into the fight as Y/N pulls her sword out says ( we fight together Ada) he nods and squeezes her hand as they ride into the fight. They are fighting well together then Thandruill looks up and says ( they are trying to block us off), Y/N looks to the town and says ( you want to go to the town) he nods. She holds on tight as they ride to the town, they both get off the Elk and start fighting the orcs.
While fighting they get separated in the chaos, Y/N finds herself fighting next to Gandalf. Y/N takes an arrow to her side and screams, Gandalf pulls her out the way. She says ( I'm ok, I can keep fighting), he looks at her and says ( be careful little one, your father needs you) she nods and carries on fighting. As the fighting slows down she leans against a wall then slides down, she holds her side and says ( Ada where are you). Thandruill is looking for Y/N, he sees bodies of elves that are not her. He goes down one street and hears someone calling Ada, he looks around and sees Y/N sitting against a wall holding her side.
Thandruill hurries to her and she smiles weakly at him, she says ( Ada I knew you would come). He hears Feren and says ( get a healer here now), Feren runs to get the healer. Thandruill puts his hand over the wound and says ( you will be fine my star light, just stay awake). She nods to him and says ( I'm sorry I got hurt Ada, I tried my best), tears fall from both their eyes. The healer comes and helps Y/N, Thandruill tells Feren (recall the army). The healer tells Thandruill ( she will be fine now, she just needs rest), he carefully picks her up and says ( we are going home, and kisses her forehead).
