It's a week till Y/N's birthday and she is moody, she hates celebrating it. She is in Arwens room watching her play with her toys when Elrond enters, he smiles at Arwen and says ( your father is coming in a few days). She moans and says ( for my birthday) he nods, she says ( can we forget it this year) he laughs and says ( no my love, we should celebrate it).
3 days later Thandruill and Legolas arrive, Lindir greets them and says ( Y/N is quite moody the last few days), Legolas laughs and says ( she hates her birthday). The twins run up to them and hug them, Legolas chases them and Thandruill says ( i will talk to her, she has reason to hate her birthday). He walks to the garden and sees Y/N sitting on a bench with her knees to her chest, he smiles and says ( no hello for your father). She looks at him and says ( hello Ada), he sighs and sits next to her and says ( have you told anyone why you hate birthdays) she shakes her head. He hugs her and she says ( Legolas was a year older than me, but I remember that day), he nods and says ( she would want you to celebrate your birthday, she was proud of you). She cries into his chest.
Later that day Thandruill tells Elrond why Y/N hates her birthday, he looks at him shocked and says ( it's the day her mother died), Thandruill nods. He says ( that's why every year since you got married she comes back to Mirkwood, this is the first year she hasn't). Elrond sighs and says ( we should make sure it's the best birthday for her), Thandruill nods and says ( but it won't be easy).
On Y/N's birthday she is still in bed, she won't get up and pretends to be asleep. Elrond walks in and says ( my love you need to get up), she shakes her head and pulls the covers over her head. He sighs and walks up to Thandruill, and says ( she won't get up, what do we do). Thandruill smirks and says ( leave that to me), he walks to her chambers and says ( little one get up) she shakes her head. He smiles at her and says ( ok then), he pulls off the covers and picks her up over his shoulder. She squeals and says ( Ada put me down), he says( no) as he carries her to Elronds study. He opens the door and everyone sees her being carried, the kids giggle as she threatens her father. She yells ( Ada put me down now, or i will kick you), he laughs as he puts her in a chair. She glares at him and he just chuckles, Elrond gives her a blanket and giggles.
Elrond hands her a gift, she opens it and sees 2 new daggers. She smiles and says ( thank you), he kisses her and the kids go ( eww gross). Arwen gives her a drawing of them together, she kisses Arwens head. The twins give her a necklace and says ( Ada helped), she has tears in her eyes and says ( thank you it's beautiful), Legolas gives her a new bow. Then Thandruill kneels in front of her and says ( I think it's time you had this), and hands her a box. She opens it and she sees her mothers necklace, she looks at her father and says ( thank you Ada, I remember her wearing it). She wipes her eyes and hugs her father, he says ( am I forgiven for carrying you here) she smiles and says ( no) I'm still going to kick you). He laughs and kisses her forehead, she smiles and says ( thank you for this).
