Y/N and her family have been travelling for a day and a half, and Thandruill wants to kill them. Legolas starting arguments with his sister and Y/N going off alone, they are now camping for the night and Y/N is sitting in a tree thinking about seeing Elrond again. She sniffles then hears her father calls her name, she gets down from the tree and walks over to Thandruill. She sits on her bedroll and smiles at her father, he hands her some food and asks ( are you ok star light) she nods. After she eats Y/N lays down on her bedroll and looks at the stars, her father and brother look at her with worry.
They are now getting closer to Rivendell and Y/N is getting more quiet, she hasn't spoken to anyone all day. Y/N knows her father is looking at her so she smiles at him, she looks around and says to her father ( i will meet you at Rivendell, i just need some time alone) she then rides off to a near by stream. She washes her face and brushes her hair, she then changes into clean clothes and boots. She then rides to go meet her father, who looks at her and says ( you look lovely) she smiles. They reach Rivendell and are greeted by Lindir, he nods and smiles at Y/N. He explains that because of the festival there aren't many rooms, so either Y/N shares with her father or her brother, she says (father as Legolas snores) she smirks at Legolas.
They enter the room and she sees it's her old room, everything is the same. She opens the wardrobe and sees some of her old clothes, she sighs and Thandruill says ( what's wrong) she says ( this is my old room, my clothes are still in here). He hugs her and says ( it's only for a few days, then we can leave) she nods and sits on the bed, a maid brings the bags in and says ( Lord Elrond wishes to have supper with Lady Y/N and Lord Thandruill and Lord Legolas if possible), Thandruill says ( we will see him at supper). The maid leaves and Y/N falls back onto the bed and moans, Thandruill looks at her sad and says ( if I find away for you to leave i will) she smiles and nods.
They are walking to meet Elrond for supper on the balcony, Y/N holds her fathers arm while Legolas walks next to her. She sees Elrond and stops walking and looks at her father, he whispers to her ( it will be ok, he won't do anything) she nods and starts walking again. Elrond stands when he sees them coming and looks at Y/N he thinks ( she is beautiful), he greets them then everyone sits down. The maids bring out the food and wine, Thandruill and Elrond are talking while Y/N and Legolas are planning a prank. Legolas starts laughing and Thandruill says ( what are you two planning) Y/N looks at her father and says ( nothing Ada just talking to my brother) she smiles and then turns back to Legolas, Thandruill rolls his eyes and says to Elrond ( I wonder who they are pranking) Elrond looks at Y/N and says ( I forgot she likes pranks).
After supper Y/N is walking in the garden, smelling the flowers when she hears footsteps. She looks up and sees Elrond walking towards her, she smiles at him and says ( my lord). He nods and says( how have you been), she sighs and says ( I'm ok, had some bad days. But Ada helped me ). He nods and says ( I had Lindirs help, he tries but it was hard), she looks at him and says ( will ever be comfortable with each other again) he nods and says ( it takes time). Y/N hears Thandruill calling for her, she smiles and says ( I have to go, Ada wants me) he nods and kisses her hand.
She returns to her room and Thandruill says ( are you alright), she nods and says ( I spoke to Elrond, he asked how I have been), Thandruill hugs her and says ( you are being strong star light, I'm proud of you). She smiles at him and says ( it's getting easier Ada).
