For the past week Elrond and Y/N have been fighting, about when they should get married or wait till they sail west. Elrond wants to wait, Y/N wants it soon so her father can walk her down the aisle.
Everyone can hear them arguing again and they are getting worried, they have never seen Elrond so happy before. Y/N looks at Elrond and says ( I have had enough Elrond, we keep having the same fight and it's exhausting), he nods and says ( what do you suggest). She removes the ring Elrond gave her and says ( I am returning home, I think we are done) she puts the ring on the table and walks to her chambers to pack, tears streaming down her face. She tells the maid to get her horse ready, she changes in to her armour and weapons and looks at her room then leaves. She walks to wear her horse is waiting and packs her horse up, she looks around and sees Elrond looking hurt. She looks away and rides off to Mirkwood.
She finally arrives to the Mirkwood border and smiles, she quickly rides through the wood to get to the gate. Once she gets to the gate the guards are shocked to see her, she removes her bags from her horse and walks to find her father. Maids take her bags as she walks to the throne room, she hears her father's voice and smiles. When she enters the throne room Thandruill looks shocked, he sends the guards away and walks to Y/N who has tears in her eyes. He holds her and she breaks down, he tries to calm her and it slowly works. He picks her up and carries her to his throne, he asks ( my star light what has happened to you). She looks at him and says ( Elrond and I are no longer together), more tears fall down her cheeks. She slowly falls asleep on her father as he sits there angry, Legolas walks into the throne room and sees what's happening.
2 weeks later Y/N hasn't left her chambers, she hardly eats but drinks wine. Thandruill walks in to her room and sees her curled up into a ball crying, he picks her up and she squeals. He carries her to his chambers, she screams ( Ada put me down). He puts her on his bed and says ( your staying in here till you are happy again), she looks at him and says ( that will be a very long time) then curls up on the bed.
Meanwhile Legolas has just arrived in Rivendell and wants to know what happened, Lindir greets him and says ( I hope Y/N has sent you ) Legolas shakes his head and says ( my father sent me, he is looking after my sister). They walk to Elronds study and Lindir says ( he isn't good either, he misses Y/N a lot), Legolas walks in and sees Elrond looking out of the window. Legolas walks up to him and says ( Lord Elrond may we talk) Elrond looks and nods his head, they talk for hours and then Legolas leaves for home.
Thandruill's maid have been helping to look after Y/N, and she is getting better. She walks around the gardens now and is eating more, Legolas returns home and talks to his father. Y/N is outside drawing when he father comes out and smiles at her, he looks at what she is drawing and says ( you get your talent from me you know) she smiles and says ( I have many talents Ada, which one do you mean) he giggles. He says ( Elrond wants you back star light, do you want to go back), she looks at him and says ( I do still love him Ada, but I don't know if I can go back) he hugs her and says ( I am here what ever you decide to do).
