3rd pov
Accelerator is no push over when it comes to pain tolerance. He's had so much shit done to his body, so many experiments and tests, anything those damn scientists could think of, that he honestly is no longer sure he can tell when he hits the limit. A decent chunk of his power he projects over the city in order to mess with the cameras and such, so that he can save as many clones as possible - he'd only killed the first 100 because they had been watched during those ones, both him and the clones in order to make sure things went to plan - without the Project managers realizing anything is wrong.
He does not want to get stronger by murdering people. He wants to get stronger in order to protect people, what good does that power do if it means he has to kill people though? Sure, he was raised by the dirtiest, most messed up people possible, but he has always refused to dehumanize anyone the way those people did him. He refuses to think of them as just clones, well aware they are people, and honestly he is surprised the project has managed to stay a secret so long with how often the Misaka clones attack him in view of people.
He gives an internal sigh as he stalks after this clone, heading towards a docking area, grin on his face and words - trash talk though in there is a message he hopes this clone will get - falling from his lips. He's been waiting for ages for the next clone to attack, had managed to get several things done and set up in the time he had waiting, including a house that no one would pay attention to, with enough space for all the clones, simply because it extends so far underground. However, he had also let the Misakas wander as they liked after he made sure they would not be spotted.
It takes a few moments, but he finally catches up to her, flipping over a railing to land in front of her, knowing for sure that the area behind him is not in his domain and the cameras will work. The girl turns and starts the other way, though Accelerator is honestly kind of curious. She appears to be leading him somewhere, so maybe she has a strategy. However, he has to make this real, so with a sigh, he charges, watching her fall and grabbing a hold of one of her legs. The poor thing winces, not that he can blame her, and tries to struggle. Without hesitation he - messes with the vectors, changing what can be seen by anyone nearby - rips the leg off, grinning at the way the girl plays along.
She looks confused, but something must've clued her in, because she starts to crawl, moving as if she were in pain and trying her hardest to reach a certain place. He let's her, stalking after her calmly, before an almost imperceptible click registers under his foot and then fire, heat, light, all reflected away out of instinct and habit.
"Oh? It was a nice try. "
The clone is sitting slumped on the ground, and it honestly looks like she's given up. It's only the vague sense he has for all the clones that lets him know she is acting. With a sigh he takes a step and watches as one of the ship containers sails through the air to land on the clone - or so it will look, in reality he opens a hole for her and she slips underground before the container hits, and with a simple thought, creates an illusion that looks like blood. He hopes the trials gets ended soon, because he's not only running out of ways to hide the clones away, but he has no idea how many more clones there are - he doubts they honestly stopped at 20000 - and he refuses to let even one be left behind. Even if that means he gets discovered, which with the lack of blood and body the clean up crew are going to have to clean, they're probably already getting suspicious.
Then a blast of lightning singes past him and he feels the first real bit of hope he's had in a while. That was far stronger than the clones have ever managed, which means this is the original.
"You killed her! How dare you!"
"Oh? "Her"? You think she was a person? That was just a clone created for me to kill. That was nothing. You need to be sent back to the lab, obviously you're defective. In case you don't remember because you've been infected or something, the lab is -" He easily rattles off the location of the lab, watching the girls face to see if she's getting the message. The shock on her face says yes, but the disgust says she may not believe it. " You may want to bring others with you, just so you don't get lost. Now shoo."
