The Quirkless Hero Book 1

Trust

Narrator: Midoriya eyes shoot open as he sees Bakugou and Uraraka kissing he hides behind the corner, his face changes from anger to sadness to confusion with his hand covering his moth he walks back to his room and lies down. 

Midoriya: * I know I blew her off and we were never actually together, but I trusted her at least I thought she would wait. Dose she not like me anymore, no we are fine, I'm sure she will explain tomorrow *

Narrator: Sunday Next day Midoriya is eating breakfast with the others as he get's up to put his plate away as Uraraka walks up to him. 

Uraraka: I got your message, do you still want to do something today. 

Midoriya: "He looks at her with anger then confusion but then calms himself" Yeah sure we can go for lunch if your free. 

Uraraka: Yeah sure. "She says with a smile leaving" 

Midoriya: * I'm sure she will tell me, there is no way she would keep it from me. Especially since it was him.*

Narrator: Later at lunch time they both go out and get something to eat they talk and Midoriya puts on a fake smile 2 hours and nothing, he convinces himself to give her more time so he asks if she wants to go out tomorrow she accepts. Next day as they are walking down the street he stops. 

Midoriya: Is there something wrong Uraraka anything happen. You seem off. 

Uraraka: No nothing is wrong. 

Midoriya: Uraraka you know I trust you right.  

Uraraka: Of course I wouldn't do anything to break that. "She say's in a low tone"

Midoriya: I can't do this, 

Uraraka: What, are you not in the mood for ice cream anymore. 

Midoriya: No I'm not I'm leaving I thought you would tell me but it's been 2 days. But I'm sure Bakugou can go. 

Narrator: He said stuffing his hands in his jacket and walking away, in his peripheral he sees her standing there not moving. He walks down a few blocks into a apartment building and knocks on the door. After a minute the door opens he sees Kimiko wearing a top with pajama shorts and her hair messy. 

Midoriya: You look nice. "He said in a sarcastic tone"

Kimiko: Good morning to you too. "She say's with a yawn letting him in" 

Midoriya: You know it's 12:00. 

Kimiko: Good afternoon. "She say's shutting the door"

Midoriya: I was gonna talk about my problem but yours  seems more interesting. How come you just woke up. 

Kimiko: I was out watching Melody drive for Hoshi. 

Midoriya: All night. We could have gone in together, you know. 

Kimiko: It would have been suspicious if you were gone all night from your dorm. After 4Am I had the late however good idea to set up cameras in different places of Melody drive as long as I change the battery once a day and turn it off during the day and on at night, they should continue to stream to my computer. 

Midoriya: Woah nice job.

Narrator: He say's as he get's a message seeing it's from Uraraka he turns his phone off and puts it in his pocket.

Midoriya: Well I'm free now, so I can help you watch through the video of last night and you.

Narrator: He say's walking up to her grabbing her hand and leading her to her bed and sitting her down. 

Midoriya: Can go to bed, I will wake you in a few and tell you if I found anything. 

Kimiko: Didn't you come here to talk about something. 

Midoriya: We can talk later, after you sleep and can think straight. 

Kimiko: Only a few hours, make sure to wake me. 

Narrator: 4 hours later he is still watching the video and hasn't seen anything suspicious or anyone selling Trigger.

Kimiko: Thanks for waking me. "She say's pulling a jumper over her head"

Midoriya: Looked like you needed more sleep, your welcome you don't look like a zombie anymore. 

Kimiko: Did you find anything. 

Midoriya: No nothing, I guess he doesn't go on that street on Sunday's but there is still more of the video.  

Kimiko: Wasn't there something you came here to talk to me about. 

Narrator: He starts from the beginning and explains what happened with Uraraka. 

Midoriya: I even gave her some time to tell me what happened. 

Kimiko: Don't you think your over reacting a little, I know you have a past with this Bakugou guy but you should talk to her at least. She may have broken your trust but maybe she could give you some explanation.  

Midoriya: Yeah maybe I should, thanks. "He say's standing up and pulling her into a hug" 

Kimiko: I-uh don't worry about it. "She say's in a surprised tone" 

Midoriya: I should probably get back to the dorms before it get's too late. "He say's grabbing his stuff and heading to the door" Call me if you find anything. "He say's shutting the door. 

Kimiko: Why is it so hot in here. 

Narrator: She mumbles while opening a window, she puts her hand to her side where his hands were. 

Kimiko: Ah, what am I doing. I look like a weirdo. It was just a meaningless hug. 

Narrator: Midoriya makes his way back to UA and on his way to his room, he bumps into Uraraka. 

Uraraka: Oh Deku, I  have been trying to call you. 

Midoriya: Yeah I know. I saw. I figured you deserved a explanation, I know we were never together but I thought we were close. 

Uraraka: We are! I don't know what happened really, he just walked up to me and kissed me it took me by surprise I didn't really know what to do. Once I gained my Barings I pulled back I told him I didn't like him like that or not at all really. 

Midoriya: You should have told me from the start instead of dragging it out, the whole time I was thinking if I gave you would explain, at my old school I never had anyone who had my full trust beecause most of the time I would be made fun off but ever since I came to this school every has been really nice but I didn't really let anyone in mainly because I thought everyone would pretend to be friends with me because I was quirkless, but I started to trust Ida, Todoroki and you well I don't know about that anymore. The point is you didn't have to hide this from me I would have understood. I even asked you about it indirectly yes but I asked non the less you brushed it off like it was nothing. I also started to think what kind of relationship would we have if you didn't trust me enough to tell me about something like that. I would have thought you new me a little better to know I wouldn't be mad over something like that. "He say's heading down the hall" 

Uraraka: I'm really sorry.

Midoriya: I know. I don't blame you at for what happened with Bakugou, I just wish you would have been honest with me, even after this I don't hate you in the least I still like you maybe more later I don't really know for sure. 

Narrator: Instead of heading to his room he goes in a different direction, to Bakugou's room.
